Back to O'Meley, didn't he nearly take Gordon Tallis out of the game a few years back with a spear tackle (when he was playing for the Northern Eagles)? I think O'Meley is a bit confused about what year it is. He still thinks it's 1970 when it was regarded as a badge of honour for a league player, especially a forward, to do his level best to injure the opposition, by fair means or foul. He may be a good player, but he is a very dirty player. There are plenty of other good props in the game who don't see the need to play dirty to prove how touhg they are: Civoniceva, Bailey, Ryles, Price, Toupou, even Mason (idiot, yes, but not a dirty player that I've seen). I hope the hell I don't see O'Meley in a sky blue jersey this year.
