Finally good to see my team change after a loss, something Raper was incapable of.

I like the changes from Ricky too. Kearney is at his best at fullback, chiming into the line with speed and ball playing skills, even if he can be a little suss under the high ball, its worth it.

Simmons will add some speed out wide, he's just gotta stop returning the ball like a cat. Anderson and Pommeroy in the centres I like, both aggressive runners and fairly sound in defense. Anderson moved 1 in from the wing will see him get more ball, which I like cause he's been strong and dangerous with the little bit he's had on the wing.

Interested to see Seymour and Noddy in the halves. Seymour's speed will come in handy as Noddy has slowed noticeably. Seymour's experience playing second fiddle to Locky will remove any dominance conflict in the halves.

Douglas and Leuluia starting is good to see, they both ran the ball up well last weekend, as did Stapleton who will give 'em hell coming off the bench. Ross had the least impact of all the forwards, which is probably why we're seeing him start from the bench. He'll improve though, he is coming back from a year off with injury.

I'm expecting to see Ciraldo get the chop and Gallen come into the team if his fitness is good enough, which will be a great boost for us.

Won't be an easy game by any means, but hopefully Ricky is tearing into 'em and we can come away with a grubby win in the local derby.

    Sharks 1-12.

I was surprised Seymor didnt play for you last weekend.

He is not that bad of a player, just didnt fit into the Broncos structure.

Ill back the Sharks if they play like they did first 2 rounds.

:edit: Gallen back is a massive plus

Until Ricky puts him back. He's not injured. It was Cooper who got injured - he's out for 3 weeks or something if I remember correctly. No real loss but, not to FG anyway, he'll be dwelling in PL for a while when he gets back I reckon.

    Brett Morris back you ripper.

This should be a cracker of a game, the local derby always is, going on Ryles recent form and Poores good game last week, i think we can dominant Gallen and Ross, (when he comes of the bench) hopefully head and hronby can click and get us some ball wide.

Hopefully this week we can take the oppurtunitys with both hands and cut out the silly mistakes.

    Dragons by 1-6.

We have a half decent side considering their misfortunes as of late.

Be a good game this one. Finally they used thereheads and moved Kearney where he should be playing. As Shark's said he might be a bit sus under the high ball but his ball playing skills and speed makes up for it it.

Good cs, looking forward to it.

Also Macdougall has yet to play his best for the dragons, he played quite well at Souths, the one aspect i like is his dummy half running its generally straight forward and hitting as hard as possible.

    Its because Gasnier is out.

A full strenght back line i believe would be:

    1. Hornby
    2. B Morris
    3. Cooper
    4. Naiqama
    5. J Morris
    6. Gasnier
    7. Head

So with gas out and hornby at 5/8, luke is the only other expirenced back, giving stanley, Lulia, Williams, B Morris are all debuts, so he is in their because hes played first grade before.

I liked the look of Rangi Chase out of dummy half for the Dragons the other night, our big fellas would wanna be aware when he's on the field.

I didn't Cs, he kept getting drivng backwards when he went for a dummy half run and ended up making little or losing ground at time, but i can see him as a hooker of the future.

His lack of NRL experience showed, no doubt. I just thought he looked the goods and has buckets of potential. Depending on how quick the kid learns, it shouldn't take long to knock the errors on the head, then he'll be very dangerous I think.
