    Funny stuff mate!

But I think you're on the right track. On a side note, send that into Adidas for the competition, you got it covered!

    More songs:
Come cheer up, my lads, 'tis to glory we steer,

To add something more to this wonderful year,

To honour we call you, not press you like slaves,

For who are so free as the sons of the waves?

Heart of oak are our ships,

    Jolly tars are our men,

    We always are ready,

    Steady, boys, steady,

We'll fight and we'll conquer again and again.

We ne'er see our foes but we will them to stay,

They never see us but they will use away,

If they run, why we follow, and run them ashore,

And if they won't fight us, we cannot do more.

Heart of oak are our ships,

    Jolly tars are our men,

    We always are ready,

    Steady, boys, steady,

We'll fight and we'll conquer again and again.

They swear they'll invade us, these terrible foes,

They frighten our women, our children and beaus,

But should their flat bottoms in darkness get o'er,

Still Britons they'll find to receive them on shore.

Heart of oak are our ships,

    Jolly tars are our men,

    We always are ready,

    Steady, boys, steady,

We'll fight and we'll conquer again and again.

I've given up on it Brad.

I might try again once all the finance BS is sorted and Titans start winning some games.

Time to bump this thread, since the season is about to kick off, and we are about to start winning games!

Also, since Mr May is talking about a new song being almost ready for Canberra, I think it is time we started getting our thoughts out there again.

I was thinking about it today, and what is a tune that EVERYBODY (probably even Titanic's Chinese mates) know the tune of?????????

    The Happy Birthday song!

    Ok, so....

We are the Gold Coats Ti-Tans!
We are the Gold Coast Ti-Tans!
We are the mighty Gold Coast Ti-Tans,
And we just kicked your teams* ar$e!

*insert whatever teams ar$e we just handed to them, in here.

It's just a very basic victory chant that we can use to rub it in to opposing fans on the train/bus ride out of Skilled Stadium.

Hahahhaa, looking at the previous versions of American Pie. Aluminium Boy and I did this ages ago. WAAAAAYYY to long for a victory song, but still worth a laugh:
    A long, long time ago...
    I can still remember
How the football used to make me smile.
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could sing and clap my hands
And, maybe, I’d be happy for a while.

    But September made me shiver
The wooden spoon it was delivered.
    Our hearts were nearly broken;
    It will remain unspoken.

    I can’t remember if I cried
    When Parramatta won that night,
But this year will be glorified,
And we / will sing with pride.

So, my my what a bloody good try,
Put the pedal to the metal,
And our fists in the sky.
    Them good old boys,
    Wearing sky-blue and white,
Singing this will be the day that youse cry…..
This will be the day that youse cry…...

Well Princey’s he’s got all the flair,
And Minchiello still perms his hair,
They play with passion every game.
Do you believe in Magic Mead?
And Kevin Gordon runs at full speed,
And what about the size of Ryan James?

Well, I know that you love Will Zillman
    He’s a handsome man with a well-formed chin.
    Let’s not forget Greg Bird,
But that moustache it looks absurd.

Coach Cartwright he still screams and shouts
But he’ll have something to smile about,
‘Cos this year will be glorified,
And we / will sing with pride.

I started singing…. My my what a bloody good try,
Put the pedal to the metal,
And our fists in the sky.
    Them good old boys,
    Wearing sky-blue and white,
Singing this will be the day that youse cry…..
This will be the day that youse cry…...

Now the Gold Coast finally has a team,
Take off your Pradas and give a scream,
And show some love to young Searly.
Paul Broughton brought the team along,
He needs a crowd that sings so strong,
And that voice belongs to you and me,

Oh, and while we were off buying a pie,
Bailey went in for a try.
    That’s just our same old luck;
    The pie was fifteen bucks.
And while Srama passes from dummy-half,
It’s time for us to raise a glass,
‘Cos this year will be glorified,
And we / will sing with pride.

    We were singing,
My my what a bloody good try,
Put the pedal to the metal,
And our fists in the sky.
    Them good old boys,
    Wearing sky-blue and white,
Singing this will be the day that youse cry…..
This will be the day that youse cry…...

Mate, a bloody good effort, and that should get you from Skilled all the way back to the train/buses!

Easy to learn, easy to sing, and plenty of Gold Coast references. I would definitely lock this away in the Titans songbook!
