Uhhm she must be pretty good to win a grand slam like 3 or 4 times.
I thought it was nice how she dedicated her win to her sister. <3

Ana Ivanovic has just seen Maria Sharapova retire 6-1 1-0 to see her way to the final of the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Japan...
Ana dominated the match, looking sharp and taking everything Maria gave her, and look composed and clinical as she dispose of the top seed in the first set before Maria was forced to retire in the 2nd.
I am so happy for Ana, after the disappointment of the Australian Open and the split with David Taylor her coach... lets hope she can make the fairytale complete and get the trophy...

Ana beats Sharapova to reach final
February 03, 2007 / Tokyo
Ana reached the final of the Toray Pan Pacific Open by beating top seed and world No.1 Maria Sharapova. Ana was well in control of the match, leading 6-1, 0-1, when the Russian retired injured.
The 19-year-old was in brilliant form from the offset. The opening two games went with serve before Ana reeled off five straight games, including two breaks. Standing almost a yard inside the baseline to receive Sharapova's second serve, Ana attacked her opponent relentlessly, winning 78 per cent of point's on the Russian's second delivery. She hit 13 winners past the top seed during the opening seven games.
Sharapova did not appear to be suffering from any kind of physical ailment, so it came as a surprise when, after receiving treatment to her thigh area during the set break, she walked to the net to shake Ana's hand.
Ana, who did not face a single break point during the 34-minute match, will face either second seed Martina Hingis or third seed Elena Dementieva in her third Sony Ericsson WTA Tour final on Sunday.
