Well it is over and ENGLAND ARE THROUGH TO THE FINAL... :roll:

I can't believe that occured, after the 15 or so wides and no balls at the start of the innings I thought NZ were certainties to get home.

HOWEVER well done to Plunkett and Flintoff who steered the ship the correct way with Monty and got the boys home.

NZ gave it their best, but they just weren't good enough and they will rue their poor fielding... something that must be looked into for the upcoming World Cup.

England in the finals though will be interesting, as they are a bit Jekyll and Hyde ATM, and if we get one who could cakewalk it through, but we get the determined England of Sydney, we could have a real battle on our hands...

NZ were probably a tad unlucky, they were, IMO, by far the better team out of those 2, for the majority of the competition...England however, are very lucky to come away with that game! Especially, as TJ said, all those friggin wides at the start! was quite funny actually! You could see so much determination on Freddy's face when he came in to bowl, paid off i suppose.

Should make for a one sided affair Final ...

I think STEPHEN FLEMING! should take his advice..

In the end he was playing for himself, and you could see that when he ran Ross Taylor out

And then he put all the pressure on the in-coming batsman, like Oram, McCullum, Vettori, Franklin, Bond.

Was listening to NewsTalkZB last night after the game, alot of the callers, well all of the callers I heard, bar 1, said he should retire. TBH i'm starting to think he shouldnt wait till the WC!

Stephen Fleming was batting pretty bad, he did make a century but he had heaps of dot balls

There was enough dot balls for about 8 overs, and that was from Fleming alone, i'm not even gunna go into Fulton!

I've never ever been this angry at Stephen Fleming before, I usually defend him, but not this time..

He well and truely ****ed that game up for us.

Aussies had great start but Clarke was stupid in getting run out and so was Hussey for his shot.

All out. Australia paniced at the end they just needed to push the odd singles as we had a excellent platform.

But still a very decent total for england to chase.
