Experience means barely anything in this day and age. Just look at all the young superstars in our game today. They have made a huge impact on the game, and when they did, they didn't have experience.Originally Posted by Parra Petty

Couldn't agree more with you Steelers, but Sandow aside, what other halves standouts do the Titans have?Originally Posted by Steelers
As I said earlier, I just don't think that the forwards will be the Titans weakness - especially with Carty, Gilly, Satts and the Bull directing them.

Coming from a brand new team can you really expect to have good talented depth anywhere? I think the Titans management did an awesome job getting who they did!
In a few years times our (the titans) up and coming juniors will get better, and slowly break into the NRL, and give us many options all over the park...For their debut year i am actually very impressed for who they could sign up! some massive names, and a heap of strong, decent players, that can only get better...It's only up hill from here! Can't wait!
GO THE MAROONS!
I agree with you there Robbie_Dee, but all I was doing was responding to Diehard's comment of our forwards being our weakness. My whole point was that I think our forward depth is fine, but our depth in the halves has a bit of a question mark over it.Originally Posted by Robbie_Dee
I agree that the Titans have done exceptionally well in signigs when you consider the talent pool to choose from.

Matty Rogers has potential there as well, and as you said before, Hilder is a possibility. But I agree with you, the forwards are strong, not as strong as other clubs, but they definately have potential, and are up to the standard of the NRL, with alot more depth than most would have expected for a new club, as Robbie saidOriginally Posted by Parra Petty
There are now around 33 players: B Carney(in the country in early Jan), S Turner(?????), C Walker and N Parfitt not included yet. Great portrait photos action photos but a little pricey.

I was talking with Scott Sattler on Friday morning and he said that Carney will be in the country and training in early January with the rest of the team. All the best.
