Jamie Pea**** as International Forward of the Year is a complete farce ... Pea**** was good with Leeds though not spectacular by any stretch of the imagination and never stood out in the Great Britain jersey as captain. The award looks like one that ensured the UK were not left empty handed as far as I am concerned. There were much better contenders coming from Australia (Mason, Hindmarsh, Smith etc.) and New Zealand (Wiki, Asotasi etc.).

Just about as comical as seeing Andy Farrell win the award in 2004 - scrub that - that would be a mass over exaggeration given that was about as farcial as it gets in rugby league award presentations

    I agree with Deegan.

Farrell and this Pea**** business is a farce. And obviously the UK media are bias.

The Golden Boot is a fantastic concept but needs to be restructured with maybe a dedicated panel. Should the media really be deciding our top award?

Aussie media should be sent tapes of UK players and vice versa as well.

It would have been a joke if anyone else even came close. Captain his team, state and soon to be country to victories. Next year it'll be state and country again so they might as well give him the other boot a year early. He'll be the first bloke to win 3 golden boots. Theres a few predictions there, remember you heard it here first!
