haha I reckon. They should consider that while the players are running around eating up the meters and demolishing the opposition, us fans are eating up meat pies and demolishing tinnies, and put out jerseys that don't have that stretch fit crap. I'm currently wearing my old 2003 Sharkies jersey and love the lose baggy fit compared to my '05 jersey that has the stretch stuff.

What is the relevance of Berrigan holding their old jersey? Just to show that the new one is absolutely nothing like it and the designers strayed away from any sort of nostalgic, old school look?

I have the same thoughts........where is the design?

It is just two colours slapped on a jersey.......I am disappointed; however I thought it was going to be worse.......

Hopefully the away jersey is a minimum of a colour switch i.e. maroon swaps with gold and vise versa

I have to say I am not happy with either of the jerseys from the Bulldogs or Broncos, besides the fact they will be hard to grab and keep the players cool.

There is no real design in either of them... although at least the Bulldogs one is keeping the V and the traditional design from last season.... the Broncos one looks like it is a pair of dark mauve shirt, shorts with yellow trim... it's not very football like at all... more like a training jersey.

For a retro look, they could have done a lot better... lets hope the away jersey is slightly more pleasing.

LOL @ yellow stripe on the bottom of the shorts! wtf were they thinking?!?!?! And the insurance logo/nrl logo/nike tick just look totally out of place...

Also is it just me or does it look more purple than the old school bronco maroon... I was expecting something more... 'out of this world' for their jersey...But oh well, whatever makes them play better! At the end of the day, doesn't matter what they look like, as long as their winners!

I think its the photo causing the "purple" perception. However it is true that the maroon of the Broncos jerseys has gradually got darker over the years.

where is the white??
aren't the broncos colours maroon, gold and white??
that was my main problem with the last jersey - almost no white!
all i was looking for in the new one was the same colours as the "classic" era (80s 90s)
instead they've made it with zero white!! (other than a nike symbol!)
it sill looks ok.. but i was hoping for more
oh well...

Thats right....Im sure its a simple oversight by the designer while he/she were designing this jersey during their lunch break

I agree with you and Meh about that triangle on the collar, the Doggies one has it too. I fail to see it's relevance and it's certainly not aesthetically pleasing either :curse:
