all this talk about making us Queenslanders change our clocks to suit you southerners and then saying its too confusing having ifferent times.. well answer is don't have DLS, then you'll be the same time as us in Queensland and you wont have to go to the trouble of changing ur clocks and then changingthem back each year!!

LOL actually mine take 2 minutes... all the clocks in the house need to be changed along with all my watches..

But no.. you get the sun longer there.. we don't..I'd rather not be headed back from Uni and work at 4pm in the darkness thank you very much...

I don't either Steve Dangerous.. except the fact that it is dark at 4pm.. if we wanted the extra sunlight.. we would all have to start work at 8am instead of 9am... then there would be uproar over that.. this is one of those things that is a no-win situation I am afraid..

That is because of the fact that there is DST.. if there wasn't.. we would all be in darkness an hour earlier... so to get that extra summer light.. there was the decision to do DST.. but hey.. each to their own as I said..

I personally like DSL.
I don't have little kids or keep any cows on my quarter acre suburban block.

I do, however, feel for the people who live in NSW and work in Qld.
And for kids who go to school in Qld and live in NSW.
And the guy who is asked to come home from the pub in QLD by his NSW wife. You loose an hours drinking time !!!!!!

This must suck.

I suggest a SOO match between Non DSL Supporters & DSL Supporters, played on the border at Tweed with a starting time of QLD DSL and finshing time of NSW, this will keep the match short (40mins).

With the winner to decide if DSL is in or out.
