He looks like a Cylon from Battlestar Gallactica. Though they were based on Centurions.
I like the mascot, but the only thing that bothers me is that Blade seems to be blade-less.
How can you have a gladiator without a sword? He should have a sword on his back!
Or maybe he does and I just can't see it.
I think Blade is a cool name. It's fresh and new and appeals to all.

Love Blade, looks like the kick butt now, don't even bother asking questions later type guy.
The marketing on him will be huge, the kids will love him. I work in a primary school and kids are starting to talk Titans. Of course I fully encourage this kind of talk

I hate the mascot, but love the name of blade, paying homage to Wesley Snipes "Blade" is the coolest, but the actual mascot looks like an escapeee of a Japanese animee film.cya. :box: :fence: :bored:

I honestly think he looks a bit awkward and clumsy. The Broncos mascot could easily bring him down, and he's a little Shetland pony. :lol!:
We need to find some huge 200+cm muscle building giant who can act the part and project some real character, rather than some hollow plastic Disney costume.
Kids aren't stupid, they know its some guy in a costume, but give them some huge 300lb WWF wrestler type with attitude and the kids will really go for him, and all the other mascots will think twice before mixing it. :fence:

I looked at some other mascots in the league and they are very similar in design, i would suggest that they have been created in Sydney. I hate to say it but i think it is becoming very bland.cya. :bored:
