Scott Prince has played for Queensland before and has expressed a desire to play for them again when he signed for the titans. Playing for a Queensland team certainly helps but will Prince the best Half Back for Queensland in 2007?

well hed have to hope he plays better than thurston to be able to play.
fat chance though as thurston has had 2 decent years of footy despite this years cowboys slump.
An injury to thurston and he has a chance, other than that he hasnt got a hope.
I think he will only get a look in if Thurston and Cronk get injured.
I think Thurston would be ahead of him at the moment, and Cronk would also be seriously considered if Thurston was unavailable. But it would depend who was most impressive in the first 10 rounds or so next season. Perry is also a chance if he plays well for the Broncs between now and then.
Yeah, he'll have to have a blinder to even get a look in. Or injury plays a hand.
If Prince comes out and has a cracker of a year than he's definately in with a chance. I'd have to agree and say that atm he would be behind thurston and cronk on the list. Lockyer and Thurton would be a deadly combination in the halves.
GO THE MAROONS!
Heres one out of left field..how about Prince at dummy half?
Next year is a different season.
Anything can and will happen.
Can Prince make the Queensland side?
sure!!
- lockyer could be injuried
- thurston could be injuried
- prince wont know himself behind a decent fowrd pack
Serious? qld have potentially the 2 best australian players in this position, Smith and berrigan. no chance for him there.Originally Posted by PROMETHEUS

Well what other positions could Prince play that the Queensland team are lacking?
Umm. Can Scott Prince play Second Row?
I dunno if anyone is signed up to cut oranges for half time yet.. He might get a gig there if he talks to the right people.Originally Posted by Titan_Matchu
Scott Prince has as just as much chance to play Origin in 2007 as Thurston and Cronk do. All it takes is for Prince to outperform the other two at the start of next year and he will be there. Why? Because he has played SOO before, there is the experience factor that selectors worry about. And he will be in form.
Queensland arent lacking any positions really, they got the foward pack and they got the backs, if Prince can't play halfback, theres not really any other spot for him. He'll have to come out next year and play really well to get a spot in the team.Originally Posted by Titan_Matchu
