lol..langer is a goose.
I cant believe that he is still in the test team.........there must be someone better than himOriginally Posted by super cronk
Ponting looks to be in great touch today which could equal a big 100 on this pitch.
I am interested in seeing Watson today at this level again. We are crying out for a genuine all-rounder and the one dayers saw him come of age, let's hope that carries over to the test arena.

He needs to be given the chance to bat higher as he really can bat when given the responsibility of batting higher.
As a batter you would be surprised at the different attitude batsmen have when coming in hgiher.

World XI need a wicket badly. Flintoff has been bowling for too long, he looks buggered.
I think Michael Clarke needs a big innings today.
Whilst he started his career brilliantly and is a long term test player, I would like to see a big century against the attack. He has the talent, he can play spin and this will be a perfect occasion to remind us all why he is so highly regarded.
Murali is bowling well though he does not bother as much here in Oz as his record here suggests. I think Vetorri will trouble us more in this test spinning the ball away from the right hander. In saying that, Murali is good to bowl out the rest of the team if conditions suit him and he gets his tail up.
Let's hope Big Matty can put on another big day for the Aussies

As I hit post, Vettori has Clarke bat pad.
I am stopping from posting right now. I put the mocker on Ponting and now Clarke...
