but was this due to Australia dominating or poor selection on the World Team? There was No Sachin and I don't know how Lara got in there :S.
Im a fan of the concept but not this particular series.

I think the World XI never gelled as a team. They didn't have enough time to get to know each other and each other's playing style.

It is a fantastic concept. Perhaps they could create a tournament with all the test playing nations (except Bangladesh) and when a player in the World XI is playing his team, he plays for his team, not the World XI.
