Hi Guys,
Let me preface this by saying that our possible new club song was masterminded by the man himself, Mr David May. We'll miss his leadership, passion and 'common touch' with the punters. A sad day for the club.

Anyway, I feel as though I can let you all in on some info without putting Dave in an awkward spot now. David approached me with an idea to change the words of a well-known song that would take the shape of a short victory chant for use after home ground wins. As a bit of a wordsmith, I put some words together and a close mate re-recorded percussion and vocals to get it off the ground.

The song was handed over to Dave and Knelly and I have a feeling they wanted to put a more professional polish to it and may have had it re-recorded, which is cool. Unfortunately, there is something like 7 publishers who have rights to the original tune, which slows down the process when trying to get the song approved and ready to use.

So..... if it all comes together, it is a song to be truly proud of. It will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck! A couple of you have had a sneak peek of the first version we did and the feedback was awesome. Hopefully the powers that be give it their tick of approval.

Thanks to Dave who had the foresight in getting the fans involved and on board. Hope you guys like it when you hear it.
