I guess really, the reporters aren't lying or making things up.

If they go to a pub, and hear a couple drunks talking about the footy, and one of them says Carney must be homesick... well, it's been said, right?

I'm not sure we have any newspapers which aren't tabloid trash.

It happens with every club, and will continue. It's easier to write up a drama than to do some real research and write anything truthful or positive.
