You surely cannot say that when Parra beat the warriors that the warriors were playing good footy? I will conceede and give you the game against the raiders.

In response to you, The panthers were a much improved with Gower returning to their side and giving them a boost. The rabbits were on a high after only just losing to the Saints the week before and this game was a wet slogfest that we gritted out superbly.
The Roosters deserve to be beaten, not just by us but by the Parra under 9 cheergirls. Newcastle has only lost their form since playing us and the Bonkos are 3rd on the ladder (how does this make them out of form???? We are true top 4 contenders whilst the current Parra team is full of pretenders.

Bet you can't guess who i normally support?? ;-)

If Manly gets over the top of the eels, i suspect Manly would then get on a roll and if the top sides have a form slump we could get as high as third.cya. :!:

Well, before we beat the Warriors in NZ, the kiwi boys beat Newcastle 30-18, beat South 66-0, beat the Panthers 28-22 and lost in golden point to the Bulldogs - I reckon thats pretty good form!

Good luck to the Sea-Eagles though, they are my 3rd favourites, after the Eels and Titans of course!

Parra are about my 5th fav, I am a big fan of E Grothe and Piggy.

Tought one to pick but I'm gonna go with the Eels. Manly got a few blokes out and just slipped in against Penrith. They get Bell back which should put a few points on the board but I just think Parra are on a bit of a roll and not looking to stop just yet.

I am riding the Parramatta Eels wave all the way to the finals after stating earlier in the year that had fallen in to the 'don't tip again this season' catergory. JT has turned around the club (poor Eels fans, Fitzy made the bold off-season move to secure Hages when he had a gem sitting there in Taylor who the majority knew would have been some sort of success given his impressive apprenticeship in the lower grades) and they are looking white hot with ball in hand.

Jarryd Hayne is firming as Rookie of the Year after a brilliant month of football - let's be honest, he has been white hot since he came in to the team. One of those talents who make you want to watch his game - I haven't said that about a Parramatta Eels in a long, long time. Hindmarsh included.

    UPDATE:
    59th minute:
    24-18
last try scored was by Manly's Luke Williamson.

He had been warned and penalised twice for headhigh tackles in the game and then almost decapitated Brent Kite with a deliberate high shot that hit the Manly player across the chin, the ref automatically dismissed Fui Fui from the field, and once again the EELS management started to excuse what he done, Fui Fui Moi Moi has a terrible record and could miss the rest of the year as he is looking at between 6 to 10 weeks.cya. :')

I'm with Deegan here, I too said it would be almost impossible to make the finals from the position they were in about 6-8 weeks ago. I hadn't given up but reality told me what an awesome effort it will take to make september. I am happy to be proven wrong.
As for Fui, i would've been 60-70 metres away from the incident and it didn't look good, particularly on the replay screen. It will be sad to see him go, again. But i'm sure Dezzy's tactics would've been to bait Fui, and stupidly he took it. He was warned in the previous few sets to get the arms down but he didn't. We'll have to wait till next season to see him again in full flight. But on the game as a whole, it was a super effort to hold off Manly for the 30 mins required. Im sure the coaches of the teams Parra have to play would be a little worried about what they saw. If they're not, they shouldn't be coaching. The crowd acted as Fui's replacement, it was an awesome feeling to be there.

I have to say i thought the Eels played magnificantly, and to hold off Manly with 12 men they showed spirit, and what an amazing turn around, they seem unbeatable with Jason Taylor as coach, one wonders why thet didn't get rid of Brian Smith at the End of last year and started the season off with Taylor, Parammatta would be in the top 4 if they had, but now he is off to Souths to head up their coaching staff.cya. :guit:

It all comes back to the d***head oxygen thief running the football club. I can't mention his name, it makes me sick even thinking about it. :disgust:

Jason Taylor is the sole reason for the immediate success of the Eels. I think they'll make the finals and (if they're playin like this 'till seasons end) possibly WIN the grand final...
