Why will the Titans work?

Nah seriously im not sure about the mascots...but ild assume the NRL would make one like they did with the other clubs newest mascots, make them all manga style.

Yep - I think the club will work. Besides the impressive administrational structure (Not only in an organisational sense, but in general "Good Bloke" sense as well), I believe the recruiting plan has learned from mistakes of new clubs of the past. They havent allowed the team to be dominated with 'twighlight" players looking for their last contract.

Realistically I dont think the team will make the finals first year, but with the varied age in the playing roster, with a strong network of feeder clubs, the club will build momentum. The fans ? They may struggle through the first year at Carrara, but there's a little pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in Robina. Id be looking for a really strong showing in 2008.

The Gold Coast has developed tenfold in the last 15 years, the base of support is there now. So its time to kick some goals if you'll pardon the pun.

Just quickly - I hope to have more news on the mascot over the next few days. Hopefully by the end of the week if not sometime next week. I am interviewing Michael Searle and will be bring up the mascot

I am interviewing Michael on a whole range of topics though I am making a point of bringing up any plans for the new mascot
