Nick Kouparitsas re-signs with the Bulldogs for 2 years...
He will be a great asset to the team and is growing to be quite a good player, here's hoping that the future is bright for our greek star...
From: www.bulldogs.com.au
Utility player Nick Kouparitsas has agreed to a two-year extension with the Mitsubishi Electric Bulldogs.
Kouparitsas, 22, was a Canberra junior before making his way to the Bulldogs via the Wests Tigers. He played three first grade games in his debut season for the 'Dogs.
Commenting on Kouparitsas' re-signing Bulldogs football manager Bradley Clyde said, "Nick is a gifted footballer who had previously spent time as a five eighth, lock and second rower. We feel his best position is in the forwards and this year he rose to the challenge of focusing on that, and was rewarded with selection in first grade.
"With another pre-season in him he will be even better in 2007."
i like greek players

A few mates down here played with Kouparitsas, got nothing but positive feedback on the bloke. Good pick up for the doggies.
LOL CP, he is re-signed...
But we did sign this guy, thanks to Kimmy aka. GTD for pointing this out, great for the future and should develop nicely through our system, but LOL if he and Willie play together.

Latest News 17 Oct 2006
The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys announced today that Matthew Scott has agreed to stay with the Toyota Cowboys until the end of 2009.
Scott, 21, and a product of the North Queensland Western town of Ilfracombe, made his first grade debut for the Cowboys in 2004 and has played 26 first grade games. His consistent performances were rewarded this year when he was selected to play for Queensland in the first game of this year's State of Origin series.
CEO of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Peter Parr said, "Being 21 and starting at this club straight out of school as a junior, we are very happy that Matt has decided to continue his career with the Toyota Cowboys."
Assistant Coach Grant Bell said "Matt is probably one of the best up and coming Front Rowers in the NRL and coming off the back of a full season of first grade games and one State of Origin, it is terrific for the future of our club that he has signed for a further three years."
