I have just read an article from a few months back it says :

And now today we have the position where the Sharks Luke Covell is under pressure from a desperate Kiwis management team to make himself available for the Kiwis test team for the Anzac Weekend Test. As I understand it, his father is a Kiwi, but Luke was born at Goondiwindi, Queensland, and played his first junior football at Murwillumbah, NSW.

If he elects to be chosen for the Kiwis, then he obviously forgoes any opportunity to represent NSW in State of Origin.
The rest of the article is here and is about players picking and choosing who they play for: http://www.crikey.com.au/articles/20...1005-2172.html

Actually Stacey Jones was quite good with his kicking game this season, so i doubt Covell will be added when Jones can do the honours.

I don't think the Kiwis are playing New Zealand A.

It is New Zealand A who are playing the Junior Kangaroos. At least as far as I know.
