Ankle injury sidelines Kimmorley
April 11, 2006

SHARKS captain Brett Kimmorley has been sidelined for four to six weeks with an ankle injury.

Kimmorley suffered the injury while scoring a second half try at Toyota Park in their 28-24 defeat to the Roosters.

Five-eighth Adam Dykes will shift to halfback as Kimmorley's replacement for the Sharks' NRL clash with premier Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium on Easter Sunday.

Coach Stuart Raper has handed the No.6 jersey to former Souths half Brett Kearney.

Raper named Paul Gallen on the bench in the back rower's return from a lower back injury and dropped lock Cameron Ciraldo from the squad which lost to Sydney Roosters on Saturday night.
