Never know, maybe he's got an offload or sidestep that Cronulla wouldn't let him use cause it didn't fit their game plan lol

Hey everyone,
My team would look like -
1. Richie Mathers
2. Brian Carney
3. Matt Rogers
4. Jake Webster
5. Chris Walker / Nat Barnes
6. Preston Campbell
7. Scott Prince
8. Luke Bailey
9. Nathan Friend

15. Brad Meyers
16. Gavin Cooper
17. Michael Hendersen
Naming a team this far out is pretty much a waste of time, and is totally up to personal preference. I have gone for some more experienced names in my team, with Hilder and Cooper to provide impact off the bench.
I have gone for Rogers in the centres inside Carney, because I beleive that this combo could surpass the deeds done by the Gidley/Carney combo that worked so well for the Knights last year.
I would like to see Nat Barnes get a run on the wing, but I think Chris Walker will pretty much cement the other wing spot outside Webster.
Just my thoughts,
Parra Petty.

That's my team for the moment. Could Possibly swap Rogers and Walker, put Henderson or Laffranchi in the front row, or change the bench a bit. I think our weakest position is front row, with no really obvious candidates apart from Bailey. So I think we will either see a lot of second rowers playing front row ala Craig Fitzgibbon and Willie Mason, or else we may be able to uncover a good junior player or two up front.
I'm personally glad Turner is gone - I think he would have been a destabilising influence. I hope he gets absolutely hammered in the trial. The addition of Rogers gives us a pretty clear cut backline - and a very good one at that. And I think the fact we get two juniors + $100k (or so I've heard) in place of Turner is a massive boost. It is establishing a strong junior base that will put us on a sure footing long term. I'm really excited about the prospect of seeing some local juniors come through.

I guess Nat Barnes will get a start after all, especially now that Carney has quit!!Originally Posted by Parra Petty

I know there are a few other players in the squad not mentioned here from the feeder teams.
Where will they figure?
