    In early January 2024 Zane Harrison started at halfback and captain for a Titans U19 side in a round robin series of matches against the Penrith Panthers and the Souths Sydney Rabbitohs in Sydney with Zane Harrison leading the Titans around the field well in both matches and being near perfect with the boot.

    Against the Penrith Panthers Zane Harrison kicked three conversions from as many attempts with his first conversions arriving in the 12th minute to convert Corey Pearce’s try from nine metres to the right of the goal posts. Zane Harrison then converted Javon Andrews 33rd minute try from eight metres in from the left corner post with Zane Harrison kicking his third conversion three minutes later in the 36th minute from six metres in from the left corner post to convert Taylan To’o’s strong try down the left channel.

    Zane Harrison kicked two conversions from three attempts in the Tians 16 – 12 victory against the Souths Sydney Rabbitohs with Zane Harrison converting tries scored by Sunny Kama and Alex Leapai.

    Zane Harrison also forced a goal line drop-out against the Penrith Panthers with a deft right foot kick into the in-goal area early in the match. In the 6th minute from fifteen metres out from the Penrith try line and in the centre of the field Zane Harrison put in a right foot ship kick into space into the in-goal with the Penrith fullback tackled in the in-goal to force the goal line drop out by Sam Stephenson and Sunny Kama.

    In early January 2024 Javon Andrews started at five eight for a Titans U19 side in a round robin series of matches against the Penrith Panthers and the Souths Sydney Rabbitohs in Sydney with Javon Andrews scoring against the Panthers when after dummying to his left Javon Andrews sliced through the Panthers right sided defensive line to score.

    In the 33rd minute after receiving the ball to the left of the dummy half and around fifteen metres from the try line Javon Andrews stepped to his outside off his right foot to easily beat his direct opponent with Javon Andrews slicing between two defenders to score eight metres in from the left corner post.

    Javon Andrews had recorded a line break assist earlier in the match in the 5th minute when he threw a long cut-out pass to his left to put Caelys Putoko away for a forty metre line break with Caelys Putoko brought to ground only thirteen metres from the left corner post.

    Javon Andrews also produced a smart piece of play in the 29th minute with a well-executed one on one strip from a Penrith opponent to get the ball back for the Titans forty metres out from the try line.

    In early January 2024 Corey Pearce started at hooker for a Titans U19 side in a round robin series of matches against the Penrith Panthers and the Souths Sydney Rabbitohs in Sydney.

    Corey Pearce scored in the 12th minute of the first trial against the Penrith Panthers when after moving into dummy half from two metres from the try line Corey Pearce stepped to his left and after throwing a big dummy in the same direction Corey Pearce got down low and burrowed over to score nine metres to the right of the goal posts.

    In early January 2024 Junior Filimaua started at right second row for a Titans U19 side in a round robin series of matches against the Penrith Panthers and the Souths Sydney Rabbitohs in Sydney with the Titans successful in both trials.

    In early January 2024 Cooper Bai started at lock for a Titans U19 side in a round robin series of matches against the Penrith Panthers and the Souths Sydney Rabbitohs in Sydney with Cooper Bai easily the Titans best against the Rabbitohs by way of a commanding performance.

    In the first of the two trials against the Penrith Panthers in the 6th minute Cooper Bai ran onto the ball to the right of the dummy half and broke two tackles as he carried the ball from thirty two metres from the try line to within thirteen metres with 75% of Cooper Bai’s metres gained being post contact with the Penrith defensive line.

    Then in the 21st minute from the right of the play the ball and eight metres inside his own territory Cooper Bai charged into the Penrith defensive line and was able to carry the ball seven metres into Panthers territory.

    In late 2023 Julius Matiu-Matiseni was named in the 2024 Brisbane Tigers U17 Cyril Connell (CC) Cup squad.

    Late 2023 saw Julius Matiu-Matiseni move over to Australia and in 2024 Julius Matiu-Matiseni will attend Mabel Park SHS and will be in line to immediately start in the School Boy Rugby League Langer Cup competition.

    In early June 2023 Julius Matiu-Matiseni was named in the New Zealand Māori U15 Tama Tournament Team after representing Hokianga Storm Whatitiri at the 2023 New Zealand Māori Rugby League Championships.

    Also in 2023 Julius Matiu-Matiseni represented New Zealand Māori (Ngai Manawa) at the U15 Pasifika Youth Cup held in New Zealand with Julius Matiu-Matiseni coming off the bench in the second half of the Grand Final against New Zealadn Samoa.

    Julius Matiu-Matiseni also came off the bench in the Semi-final against the Cook Islands with Julius Matiu-Matiseni scoring within a minute of coming onto the field when in the 16th minute from the left of the play the ball and eight metres from the try line Julius Matiu-Matiseni charged onto the ball and was able to crash over to score ten metres in from the left corner post.

    The 18th minute saw Julius Matiu-Matiseni ran onto the ball to the right of the dummy half to carry the ball from thirty two metre from the try line to twenty one metres out. Julius Matiu-Matiseni backed up with another run to the right of the dummy half in the 22nd minute to carry the ball through the centre of the field from forty one metres out to with twenty three metres of the try line. Then in the 34th minute from the left of the play the ball Julius Matiu-Matiseni made ten metres from his own thirty metre mark.

    In August 2023 Julius Matiu-Matiseni was named in the U15 Auckland Boys North Region of Origin Representative Rugby League squad for a series of matches against Auckland Boys South Region of Origin U15’s.

    In New Zealand Julius Matiu-Matiseni attended Tamaki College as well as playing for the Ellerslie Eagles Rugby League club.

    Round One of the 2024 U18 Laurie Daley Cup competition saw Elliott Farrell named at left centre for the Northern Rivers Titans against the Newcastle Knights with Elliott Farrell scoring in the 12th minute with a run out of dummy half to his right from two metres out with Elliott Farrell able to force his way over with three defenders trying to stop him to get the ball down eight metres in from the left corner post.

    Elliott Farrell recorded a try assist in the 24th minute with a smart catch and pass to his left when three metres from the try line to put Noah Waldock over to score in the left corner.

    Elliott Farrell also made a line break in the 8th minute when whilst defending at left centre Elliott Farrell moved up quickly and was able to jump high and take an intercept above his head with both hands twenty three metres out from his own try line. Elliott Farrell then burst downfield before being caught from behind twenty four metres from the try line.

    In the 52nd minute Elliott Farrell, after running onto the ball to the left of the dummy half broke a tackle as he ran the ball from twenty five metres out from his own try line to thirty seven metres out. Then in the 54th minute from two passes to the left of a Northern Rivers scrum win Elliott Farrell ran the ball through the centre of the field to get within two metres of the try line after receiving the pass fourteen metres out.

    Elliott Farrell started the 2023 season as a member of the U16 Andrew Johns Cup Northern Rivers Titans squad with Elliott Farrell starting all five of the Titans matches in the centres.

    Also in 2023 even though he was still U16 eligible Elliott Farrell played for the Byron Bay Devils U18 NRRRL side starting in the centres in Round One against the Murwillumbah Mustangs. In the 2023 NRRRL U18 regular season Elliott Farrell made five more starts in the centres and two from the interchange bench.

    Elliott Farrell then moved to the left wing for the Devils 2023 NRRRL U18 Finals campaign in the Week One Elimination Final victory against Northern United and the Week Two Elimination Final loss against the eventual premiership winners the Bilambil Jets.

    Elliott Farrell scored two tries over the course of his 2023 NRRRL U18 campaign for Byron Bay with Elliott Farrell scoring his first try of the season in Round Nine against the Mullumbimby Giants and Elliott Farrell also scored in Round Ten against the Kyogle Turkeys.

    In Round Nine against the Mullumbimby Giants Elliott Farrell scored in the 11th minute when he chased through a grubber kick to dive on the ball in the in-goal area to score four metres to the right of the goal posts. Elliott Farrell then scored in the 12th minute of Round Ten against the Kyogle Turkeys when after receiving a pass from his right whilst playing left centre, Elliot Farrell had a twenty metre run to his left to score in the left corner.

    2023 saw Elliott Farrell continue at St Johns College Woodlawn with Elliott Farrell a key member of the Woodlawn School Boy Rugby League First XIII that won the New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges (NSW CCC) Cup Plate competition including victories against Patrician Brothers Blacktown and Parramatta Marist High School in the rounds prior to the Finals series.

    Playing against Patrician Brothers Blacktown in the Plate Final Elliott Farrell kicked a match winning field goal on the final siren to win the match for Woodlawn 7 – 6.

    Elliott Farrell also played School Boy Rugby Seven’s in the North Coast School Boy Rugby Seven’s competition in 2023 for St Johns College Woodlawn.

    Round One of the 2024 U18 Laurie Daley Cup competition saw Jimmy McCombie named at halfback for the Northern Rivers Titans against the Newcastle Knights with Jimmy McCombie kicking five conversions from seven attempts in a comprehensive Northern Rivers Titans victory.

    Jimmy McCombie kicked his first conversion in the 12th minute when he converted Elliott Farrell’s try out of dummy half from eight metres in from the left corner post. Jimmy McCombie then kicked his second conversion from three metres in from the left touchline in the 24th minute to convert Noah Waldock’s try. Jimmy McCombie added his third conversion in the 51st minute from eight metres in from the right touchline before kicking his fourth conversion from four metres to the left of the goal posts in the 54th minute with Jimmy McCombie then converting Robert Smith’s try in the 64th minute from two metres to the right of the goal posts.

    Jimmy McCombie was also heavily involved in Noah Waldock’s 24th minute try when from a Northern Rivers scrum wing ten metres from the try line and in the centre of the field Jimmy McCombie ran the ball to his left and once again ran deep into the Knights defensive line and when three metres from the try line Jimmy McCombie was able to draw two defenders and then get a smart pass away to his left to Elliott Farrell who then put Noah Waldock over to score in the left corner.

    Jimmy McCombie did well in just the 2nd minute of the match when after receiving the ball to the right of the play the ball ten metres from the try line Jimmy McCombie took the ball deep into the Newcastle defensive line before putting in a short right foot grubber kick and was then awarded a penalty when he was hit late by a Knights defender.

    In the 6th minute Jimmy McCombie ran the ball to the left of the dummy half and was able to promote the ball from twenty nine metres out from his own try line to the forty metre mark. Jimmy McCombie then did well defensively in the 45th minute with a driving right shoulder tackle on the Newcastle five eight on the last tackle four metres from the try line to force a change over.

    Round One of the 2024 U18 Laurie Daley Cup competition saw Kaleb Smith named at hooker for the Northern Rivers Titans against the Newcastle Knights with Kaleb Smith making a strong driving front on tackle in the opening set of six tackles after Northern Rivers had kicked off on the Knights fullback in the centre of the field and twenty eight metres from the try line.

    The 10th minute saw Kaleb Smith run out of dummy half to his left to carry the ball from the thirty five metre mark to the halfway mark. Kaleb Smith also ran out of dummy half to his left in the 15th minute from four metres inside his own territory and got the ball seven metres into Newcastle territory.

    Kaleb Smith then ran out of dummy half to his right in the 49th minute and broke two tackles as Kaleb Smith ran the ball to within twenty six metres of the try line after picking the ball up from dummy half forty metres out. Kaleb Smith also ran to his right out of dummy half in the 52nd minute to run from thirty six metres from his own try line to get the ball to the halfway mark.

    Round One of the 2024 U18 Laurie Daley Cup competition saw Noah Waldock named on the left wing for the Northern Rivers Titans against the Newcastle Knights with Noah Waldock scoring in the 24th minute when after receiving the ball from his inside from Elliott Farrell three metres from the try line, Noah Waldock stepped inside off his left foot as a Knights defender flew past to put he ball down three metres in from the left corner post.

    In the 24th minute from a twenty metre tap restart Noah Waldock was able to make eleven metres against a set Newcastle defensive line. Then in the 28th minute Noah Waldock came off his wing into the centre of the field to take a yardage carry to the left of the play the ball with Noah Waldock carrying the ball from his own six metre mark out to the eighteen metre mark.

    Noah Waldock made an additional yardage carry in the 46th minute from the right of the play the ball to get the ball from six metres out from his own try line to twenty metres out. Noah Waldock then did well in the 60th minute to jump high a take a Knights bomb to his wing under pressure in the left corner.

    Tyson MacDonald signed a multi-year contract with the Titans in early 2024.

    Round One of the 2024 CC Cup competition saw Tyson MacDonald named on the Souths Logan Magpies extended bench for their match against the Burleigh Bears

    In 2023 Tyson MacDonald in addition to playing for Ipswich Grammar School in the School Boy Rugby GPS U15A competition as selected in the U15 Emerging Reds South East Queensland Representative side on the right wing (No. 14) with Tyson MacDonald scoring against Brisbane White.

    Tyson MacDonald was also part of het Met West U15 School Boy Representative Rugby side that won the 2023 Queensland School Boy Rugby U15 Championships with Tyson MacDonald scoring from the right wing against Met North.

    It appeared to be a great comeback by the Tweed MM team scoring 12 points in the last 20 minutes. It appears they have a never say die attitude as they came back from behind last week to over run Niorths.
    However the Tweed CC Cup lost to Redcliffe 32-12 today leaving them in 12th position.

    I was there tweed would have scored 3 more tries if they had executed their shape and line running properly lol

    But Redcliffe to their defence had a good defensive structure to fluster them

    Zane missed a penalty with a minute to go, would’ve won it for them. Should’ve been a kick he iced too but he shanked it. Learning experience.

    That dolphins side is good man.
