More flair than Priscilla Queen of the Desert, T.

I'm starting to wonder if HS was an elusive outside back, or an all round 1-6 like Rowdy Shearer. Hard to nail him.

Pretty excited to see weaver in the 6 and Boyd in 7. I think weaver is a halfback but he’s got a great running game and I would love him to take over the 6 jersey from Foz anyways. Leaves harrison that 7 jersey when he’s ready to replace Boyd or weaver 7 Harrison 6

    Titans Ipswich trial sold out
    https://www.titans.com.au/news/2024/...rial-sold-out/

The Titans are thrilled to announce Sunday's major trial against the Parramatta Eels at North Ipswich Reserve has officially sold out.

Very excited to be playing the club’s major trial in the rugby league loving region, fans were quick to secure the remaining seats this week after the Gold Coast's department of youth impressed with an almighty performance against the near full-strength Dolphins to embark on the new Des Hasler era.

Expecting over 5000 people through the turnstiles to see the Titans in action, CEO Steve Mitchell is delighted with the support and excitement for the clash.

"The Ipswich community absolutely love their rugby league so there's no surprise we've sold out North Ipswich Reserve for today's game against the Eels.

"Ever since we announced we were bringing our major trial to Ipswich, there has been such an energy for the return of NRL, and it has really ramped up this week with the countdown to kick-off.

"The city and surrounding region and been have buzzing with excitement in anticipation for what should be sensational and exciting game of footy this afternoon.

“We couldn’t have done it without the immense support of the Ipswich Jets, led by CEO Richard Hughes and his hardworking team who have been an incredible support to ensure today’s event is a success.”

The match will be the second consecutive trial the Titans have played in front of a sold-out crowd after the full house sign was put up for last Sunday's clash against the Dolphins which attracted 7,869 people at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

Yep Fermor not in sight and Palasia too slow but Sami makes amends.

I know it’s only a trail but geez our attack is woeful and our edge defence is being torn to shred. It goes to show when Cartwright is killing us

Boyd needs to step up in this game he looks a bit lethargic and playing one side of the ruck needs to play both and take a bit of control

Very sloppy first half lacked direction and need to build an offload into some of our sets

I hope Brimson is ok! It was exciting to see him put the foot on the pedal.

Hope we fight back and can be better organised in the second.

I got distracted and speed watched the first half between breaks in play to catch up. So I didn't get too absorb much detail and trends.

Not much positive to see there. The much vaunted forward pack being completely out played. The left edge horrible and Boyd really awful. The bench looked better than the starters and Kini has had more carries than all the other backs combined. AJ needs to pass, that was a bombed try reminiscent of Herbert. Hoping for a better second half.

The left defence was poor. Palasaia and Fermor both poor in defence. Agree that the reserves look better and. I am not sold on Tino at lock. It makes us too one dimensional

Passing is such an essential skill from a centre, but it's also surprisingly elusive. I've said it before, my all time fav players are noted support players.
