If we went after young ones it's Ryles, Morris or Hannay I would assume???

I wouldn't be against any of them but I also kind of want a cougar with that late night casino vibe where they know what they're doing.

We need Qld dna … perhaps a Hagan/Hannay combo.

I'd go for Maguire out of that lot or Morris but I don't want to go for someone who's not experienced. If we swap coached I think it's for someone proven... I don't know though.

Mal should take over if he really loves us /s kind of?
Mal is not a coach he is a manager

Wayne was ignored by the club because iirc he didn’t actually have a manager reach out but an intermediary when his troubles were happening with the broncos and someone was paranoid we were being essentially pranked

We probably just need a man manager with a great assistant imo, this team isn't lacking in skill, just brains.

I know he wouldn't work but I think this team would do well with someone to keep them calm and tell them they a decent team, we just are to nervous and need a calming presence..

I don't know where you get that to be fair...

Im not a Maguire fan, its fairly well known that with Maguire as coach recruitment and retention becomes very difficult.
    Morris seems Holbrook mark 2.

A PSYCHOLOGIST can do that. Holbrook needs to see one too until we replace him. We need that Psychologist now!

Is Brett White looked at as a future HC? At least let him beat the crap out of some guys this week.

We should do everything the opposite of what we've done so maybe hiring a Pschologist would be better then our luck with coaches.

Flanagan is by far the best option for us and he has shown he can develop bottom sides to premiers.

He has done is time for his past wrongs and he should be given a clean slate and opportunity.

If they cannot get Flanagan, then go for Ryles. Here is an insight of Ryles from Luke Keary.

Keary, who has won two premierships with the Roosters and one with the Rabbitohs, gave a stunning insight into the type of coach Ryles is.

“He’s in your Craig Fitzgibbon mould,’’ Keary said.

“He’s where Fitzy was – he’s done enough.

“You can see that they know their way around everything.

    “Rylsey is definitely ready.

“He has a big focus on defence which Fitzy had.

    “They’re so similar.

“When Fitzy left and Rylsey came in, it was almost like the same person.

Man was brought in to improve our defence and he has not done that whatsoever, not a chance he should be near head coach.

Genuine question, should we start a petition to sack Holbrook? It’s clear the club is too soft and thinks too kindly of him to do it, but we need to show as fans that we won’t stand for this. He is clearly the issue so he has to go. On top of that, it’s just a matter of time before clubs such as Dragons will be looking to move on their coach and in the market for a new one so we want to have first pick at the best options available

just let the year play out and see how we go and if we improve IMO. Mid-season sackings are kinda pointless IMO.

It's not even mid-season though, it's only round 8 and we're actually still within reach of the top 8. Holbrook has had so many chances and he's proven that he is absolutely not the guy to turn this teams mentality and defence around, so we're just wasting a whole year if we let him stick it out. If you let him stay the losses are just going to get worse, the fans are going to turn away, and there is potential for some of the players to become restless and want out.

On the flip side if we move him on ASAP and either bring someone in mid-season or let an interim coach play out the year, we still have a chance to try do something this season. The talent and the ability to score points is clearly there so we're not completely a lost cause, it's just we need someone to fix the groups mindset and ability to defend against momentum. And Holbrook is not that guy.

I’m sorry but I could care less about stigmas and all that I want a premiership mentality and there are a small list of names on there

    Flanno
    Robbo
    Bellyache
    Bennett

    That’s it
Every one of their protégés has failed in the nrl

Cleary gets carried by cleary and by the talented panthers junior catchments
