Dolphins will be primed for this. They play methodical football. And within the club they will absolutely make sure that the players are pumped and fully briefed over the "Gold Coast Dolphins" incident. Book of Grudges material.

    I hope AJ can play.

We have to get our best players on the paddock full stop

    1. JC
    2. Sami
    3. AJ (interchangeable with JC where a good coach could have them roaming)
    4. Schoupp
    5. Jojo
    6. Foran
    7. Boyd
    8. Mo
    9. Randall
    10. Tino
    11. Fifita
    12. Stimson
    13. Liu

    14. Leeming
    15. Clark
    16. Mikaele
    17. Hass (Goes to second row Stimson middle rotation and I hope Hass kills it)

Agree that Vuna isn't first grade quality. I think we need to prioritise our middle against the Dolphins so I would be playing Fifita/Haas in the second row with a bench of JC/Clark/Mikaele/Stimson assuming Brimson is back at 1. Izsac looks good but still developing and copped a head knock so would be resting him for a few weeks.

I never thought I’d say this but I’d keep Sami on the right wing and Lofi on the left. If Jojo comes in then he takes out one of the centers, probably BK. The starting pack can’t have Clark in it, he’s too small. He can only be an impact sub like Peachey, which probably marks him as dispensable, when JJ come back, too. Leeming and Mikaele should be certainties this week with JC, assuming AJ is back, and Sammy Mac. Haas’ numbers haven’t been great and he’s not an impact player. He’s a player of the future.

My bench: JC, Leeming, Mikaele and Sammy Mac.

I'm leaning towards Haas on the edge and Stimson on the bench. I wouldn't begrudge either Sammy Nac or Mikaele on the bench too.

Kelly and Vuna definitely should go out and possibly Izack too.

In that case the ins are Jojo, Klese and one of Mikaele or Sam Mac

@Birdy how does AJ’s return affect the team … the conundrum is exasperating lol

This would be my team aswell I think which I hate to say because I really want AJ to play fullback, lucky im not the coach and I wont lament him if he chooses to play AJ at 1 and JC left out of the 17 too and BK for his last chance at 3.

Hey Hj I think BJ's absolute dumb plays far outweigh any of his positives and he's a must drop if we are in fact on the improve. I'll call it now that Hurricane will be on the slide once again if he can't identify this

I'm going to go left field and probably unpopular opinion but...

    1. JC
    2. Sami
    3. Jojo (not sure he will be able to play LC but I want to try it)
    4. Schoup
    5. Lofi
    6. AJ (controversial)
    7. Boyd
    8. Mo
    9. Randall
    10. Tino
    11. Fifita
    12. Klese
    13. Liu

    14. Leeming
    15. Stimson (middle/edge cover)
    16. Mikaele
    17. Clark

    18. Sam Mac

The big omission being Foran, but I don't think he's been that good anyway and he's clearly playing injured at the moment. I'm not expecting much support for this but I think it's our highest ceiling team, not necessarily highest floor though haha

If a team with Isaako, Herman, Brenko and Wallace beats us I'm going to be so upset...

I'm 50/50 on Haas just because we're going to need him fresh, I'll be stunned if Fifita isn't playing origin so I don't want him being worn out when he's going to be very needed during that period, He's still only 20 and he's going to be playing some big minutes.

We've been moving Tino to right second row which I think works going forward. Holbrook just needs to choose better times to do it so Stimson can come back on for another stint in the middle, he keeps doing it at the end of games when he's got nothing in the tank.

If AJs back, It sounds a bit crazy but I wouldn't be surprised at all if we go with Leeming and JC on the bench with Mikaele coming in and Vuna being dropped. Iszac and Vuna haven't been playing big minutes and I think there's a chance we'll try condense that time into Clark and Mikaele.
It seems there's a clear end game line up now established with Clark, Liu and Moe as the middles.
