    Tony Francis continued on the right wing for Burleigh in Round Ten of the QCup against the Toowoomba Clydesdales with Tony Francis making a strong run in the 13th minute from twelve metres inside his own territory and to the right of the play the ball with Tony Francis carrying the ball twelve metres inside Toowoomba territory.

    Then in the 26th minute from the right of the play the ball from ten metres out from his own try line Tony Francis was able to get the ball to twenty six metres out.

    Playing all eighty minutes of the match Tony Francis ran for eighty four metres (forty two post contact), broke four tackles, played the ball at an average speed of 3.17 seconds and made six against at an 85.71% tackling efficiency.

    After ten rounds of the 2023 Queensland Cup competition Tony Francis was second in terms of post contact metres with 529 metres.

    Tony Francis completed his hat trick in the 68th minute when after the ball was spun from Burleigh’s left to the right and a kick was put in towards the Bears right wing, Tony Francis raced through leaping high in the air to take the kick on the full to crash over in the right corner to recorded his first Queensland Cup hat trick.

    Tony Francis also did well in the 17th minute with Tony Francis jumping high to take a bomb to his wing on the full under pressure and twenty metres from his own try line with Tony Francis charging downfield to get within four metres of the halfway mark.

    Then in the 23rd minute ran onto the ball to the left of the play the ball to carry the ball from thirty five metres out from his own try line to the halfway mark.

    Kaleb Ngamanu continued on the right wing for the Tweed Heads Seagulls away to the PNG Hunters in Round Twelve of the Queensland Cup with Kaleb Ngamanu scoring in the 79th minute with an eight metre run after receiving a long cut-out pass from his inside with Kaleb Ngamanu putting the ball down in the right corner.

    Kaleb Ngamanu made the first of a number of strong runs inside the opening minute of the match when from the right of the play the ball Kaleb Ngamanu carried the ball from his own thirty metre mark to within four metres of the halfway mark.

    Then in the 3rd minute Kaleb Ngamanu ran onto the ball to the right of the play the ball from thirty five metres out from his own try line and after taking possession of the ball, Kaleb Ngamanu stepped off his right foot just prior to the defensive line with Kaleb Ngamanu able to get the ball a metre into PNG territory with 60% of the metres made being post contact with the defensive line.

    Kaleb Ngamanu made a further good run in the 18th minute from the left of the play the ball with Kaleb Ngamanu breaking a tackle as he carried the ball from fifteen metres out from his own try line to thirty metres out.

    Just a lazy team leading 245 running metres, a team leading 76 of which were post contact, two try assists, two line break assists, a line break and a team leading seven tackels breaks for Keano Kini yesterday for Burleigh in the Queensland Cup against Norths.

    Tremain Spry continued at right centre for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Thirteen of the QCup against the Central Queensland Capra’s with Tremain Spry scoring a double with the first of Tremain Spry’s tries coming in the 14th minute in slightly strange circumstances. The Capra’s put up a mid-field bomb which everyone let bounce with the bounce taking the ball towards the Seagulls defensive line with Tremain Spry reacting first to take possession of the ball sixty metres out and racing down the left touchline to out the ball down ten metres in from the right corner post.

    Tremain Spry completed his double in the 62nd minute with another long range effort when after receiving the ball from his inside from Toby Sexton after Toby Sexton had fielded a Central Queensland grubber, Tremain Spry had an eighty five metre down the right touchline to score five metres in from the right corner post.

    Tremain Spry also recorded a try assist in the 79th minute when with a Seagulls scrum feed twenty metres out and in the centre of the field Tremain Spry moved from the right side of the field to the left and after receiving the ball two passes off the back of the scrum Tremain Spry continued to run to his left before engaging a defender and getting a one arm off-load away to his left when four metres from the try line to put Kaleb Ngamanu over in the left corner to complete his hat trick.

    Playing the entire match Tremain Spry ran for a team leading 190 metres (thirteen post contact), recorded a try assist, line break and a line break assist, broke three tackles, played the ball at an average speed of 3.07 seconds and made seven tackles.

    After thirteen rounds of the 2023 Queensland Cup competition Tremain Spry was equal first in terms of line breaks with twelve.

    Jojo Fifita started on the right wing for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Thirteen of the Queensland Cup against the Central Queensland Capra’s with Jojo Fifita taking a Capra’s kick on the full in the 2nd minute twenty eight metres from his own try line and neat the right touchline with Jojo Fifita breaking three tackles as he ran towards the centre of the field to get the ball twelve metres inside Capra’s territory.

    The 12th minute saw Jojo Fifita run to his left out of dummy half with Jojo Fifita carrying the ball from thirty eight metres from his own try line to the halfway mark. Then a minute later in the 13th minute Jojo Fifita ran onto the ball to the left of the play the ball from ten metres out from his own try line making thirteen metres.

    Jojo Fifita made another strong run in the 19th minute when once again after taking possession to the left of the play the ball Jojo Fifita was able to promote the ball from thirty metres out from his own try line eleven metres downfield from the second hit-up after a Seagulls twenty metre restart.

    Then in the 35th minute from the left of the dummy half Jojo Fifita took the ball from twenty metres out from his own try line to within ten metres of the halfway mark with 60% of the metres gained post contact. From a Seagulls penalty restart in the 44th minute Jojo Fifita was able to get from thirty eight metres from the try line to twenty two metres out.

    Jojo Fifita then made big metres in the 51st minute when after taking possession of the ball thirty five metres out on the right touchline Jojo Fifita stepped inside as he made nineteen metres to within sixteen metres of the try line.

    Jojo Fifita did well in the 69th minute when he outjumped a number of Norths players to take a short Devils kick-off on the full just after it crossed the ten metre plain with Jojo Fifita then able to carry the ball back to five metres of the halfway mark.

    Playing all eighty minutes of the match Jojo Fifita ran for 143 metres (sixty eight post contact). Broke three tackles, played the ball at an average speed of 2.26 seconds and made six tackles.

    Kaleb Ngamanu moved to the left wing for Tweed Heads Round Thirteen of the QCup against the Central Queensland Capra’s with the move paying immediate dividends with Kaleb Ngamanu scoring a hat trick.

    Kaleb Ngamanu scored his opening try in the 37th minute with an easy three metre run to put the ball down in the left corner after good work on his inside by Kea Pere.

    Kaleb Ngamanu scored his second try in the 67th minute when after Thomas Weaver had put a bomb up towards his wing that coming down two metres from the try line and just in from the left touchline Kaleb Ngamanu outjumped his opponent to take the ball on the full with Kaleb Ngamanu maintain his balance when he came back to the ground and get the ball down in the left corner.

    Kaleb Ngamanu completed his hat trick in the 79th minute with a three metre run to put the ball down in the left corner after receiving an off-load from his inside from Tremain Spry.

    Kaleb Ngamanu could easily have finished the match with four tries when he got the ball down with an outstretched left arm in the left corner after a twelve metre run in the 45th minute but the touch judge ruled that Kaleb Ngamanu had put a foot on the touchline just prior to getting the ball down in the corner.

    In just the 2nd minute Kaleb Ngamanu ran the ball from the left of the play the ball from his own thirty eight metre mark to get the ball to the halfway mark. Kaleb Ngamanu then made a further good run in the 50th minute from the left of the play the ball with Kaleb Ngamanu getting the ball from twenty eight metres out from his own try line to within eight metres of the halfway mark.

    Keano's subtleties with his link play in shape is starting to flash a lot. Plays it like he knows well which defender he's targeting and chooses the right option with his pass. Seems simple but some NRL fullbacks still struggle with getting that part of their game right.

    Keano Kini recorded his second try assist in the 6th minute when after chiming into the backline on this occasion on the left Keano Kini got the ball away to his left centre just as he was being tackled from behind to score.

    Inside the opening minute of the match Keano Kini had made significant ground running the ball when after joining the Bears backline on the left side of the field, Keano Kini pulled away from an attempted jersey grab tackle forty metres from the try line with Keano Kini then carrying the ball to within twenty two metres of the try line only to be hit in a high tackle and be awarded a penalty.

    The 23rd minute saw Keano Kini take a Norths kick fifteen metres out from his try line and in the centre of the field with Keano Kini able to return the ball to the twenty eight metre mark with around 70% of the metres gained being post contact with the Norths defensive line.

    Keano Kini made another strong kick return in the 38th minute when after collecting the ball two metres from his own try line and on the right side of the field, Keano Kini ran the ball back towards the centre of the field out to the twenty two metre mark.

    In the 53rd minute Keano Kini took a Norths kick on the full sixteen metres out in front of the posts with Keano Kini running to his left and after beating one defender Keano Kini ran the ball back towards the centre of the field and after getting past two more defenders, including a clockwise spin, Keano Kini was brought to ground four metres from the try line.

    In the 28th minute Keano Kini ran out of dummy half to his right from five metres inside his own territory with Keano Kini able to get the ball ten metres inside Norths territory. Then in the 39th minute forty metres out and to the right of the play the ball Keano Kini beat one tackle after making ten metres with Keano Kini then able to make a further ten metres downfield before being brought to ground.

    The 45th minute saw Keano Kini run onto the ball to the left of the play the ball thirty seven metres from the try line and after making nine metres Keano Kini was able to get his right arm free and off-load to his left to Vaka Sikahele. Then in the 49th minute ran the ball from the right of a Bears scrum win and came close to scoring after continuing to run to his right with Keano Kini finally stopped less than a metre from the try line.

    Keano Kini then did well in the 72nd minute to move quickly to his left and collect a Norths grubber kick in-goal with Keano Kini then diving forward back into the field of play to prevent Burleigh having to restart the match though a goal line drop-out.

    Playing the entire match Keano Kini ran for a team leading 245 metres, a team leading seventy six of which were post contact, made a line break, recorded two try assists and two line break assists, broke a team leading seven tackles, played the ball at an average speed of 3.99 seconds and made five tackles.

    Oskar Bryant continued off the bench for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Fourteen of the Queensland Cup against the Mackay Cutters with Oskar Bryant coming onto the field to operate in the dummy half role in the 16th minute.

    The 33rd minute saw Oskar Bryant run to his right out of dummy half from twenty three metres out from his own try line with Oskar Bryant stepping and swerving his way six metres inside Mackay territory. Oskar Bryant also made a smart run out of dummy half in the 68th minute when he ran to his right from ten metres from the halfway mark to get the ball four metres inside Cutters territory.

    In his sixty six minutes operating in the dummy half role Oskar Bryant ran for fifty nine metres (eleven post contact), broke a tackle, played the ball at an average speed of 4.12 seconds and made an impressive thirty two tackles at an equally impressive tackling efficiency of 100%.

    Tremain Spry moved to fullback for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Fourteen of the Queensland Cup against the Mackay Cutters with Tremain Spry recording two try assists and three line break assists.

    Tremain Spry recorded the first of his try assists in the 10th minute when after chiming into the Seagulls backline to the right of the play the ball, Tremain Spry took the ball deep into the defensive line before getting an off-load away to his right to Jojo Fifita who stepped past his opposing centre to score from ten metres out, ten metres in from the right corner post.

    Tremain Spry recorded his second try assist in the 20th minute when after chiming into the Tweed Heads backline to the left of the play the ball, Tremain once again dug deep into the defensive line before passing to his left to put his left centre over to score in the left corner.

    Tremain Spry recorded one of his line break assists in the 65th minute when after driving deep into the defensive line after joining the backline on the left, Tremain Spry was able to draw in the Cutters right winger and get a pass away to his left to Kaleb Ngamanu when thirty three metres out with Kaleb Ngamanu getting to within three metres of the try line.

    The 35th minute saw Tremain Spry take a quick tap after receiving a penalty in the centre of the field and twenty metres from his own try line when Tremain Spry’s quick tap catching the defence off guard as he promoted the ball twenty metres downfield.

    Tremain Spry joined the Seagulls backline once again in the 39th minute to the right of the play the ball with Tremain Spry able to get the ball eight metres into Mackay territory after taking possession of the ball ten metres inside his own territory.

    Playing all eighty minutes of the match and in addition to his two try assists and three line break assists, Tremain Spry ran for 125 metres (thirty nine post contact), broke a tackle, played the ball at an average speed of 3.39 seconds and made a tackle.
