Really happy for Iszac. Didn't expect him to be debuting this early but I'm glad he gets his opportunity.

A bit of background that no one asked for - he's had a much different pathway to Tino and never made any of the junior rep teams or anything, but his work ethic and determination is pretty special. Went down to Melbourne to play a bit of age group stuff when Tino was there, and then we signed him to the JTS (when we knew Tino was coming) and he's just continued to do everything asked of him, rising above a few other highly regarded junior prospects at the same time and eventually earning a Dev deal. Played 14 Qcup games last year, most of which I did some review on in the JTS transition thread, but to summarise - hard working, high involvement, all effort, team-first kind of player who's work-rate and effort are standouts. Expect 1%ers and tough carries instead of bustling runs and big hits.

Don't expect Tino V2 out there...Iszac is a smaller body and Tino is a pretty unique case. Iszac is still a developing prospect and we'll see in a few years what kind of player he can be but I don't think he'll let anyone down this afternoon based on effort.

    Thanks for the insight bro.
One thing we’re not short of is flash so Iszak sounds exactly like the hearty type of player we need.

Holbrook has to figure out a way to get JC out there due to the heat imo, I don't hate the idea of him playing 13 for 15/20 today if we have momentum and he has to be with Tino or someone to protect him. Without NAS and their pack being pretty small in the middle with no impact runners I think he cope there today. With the sweat and fatigue that's going to be out there today he might break a game completely open through the middle.

Stimson and Boyd so horrible in defence left Schoupp in the sh!t who then made a meal of it.

Does AKP have the pox or something? Twice now, the fastest guy on the field has been ignored on a break.

Luckily he looked. Olam would have killed him with a blind hit.

Dropped ball, penalty (next tackle), soft defence on the line not getting in front of the ball runner.

The Titans experience. Everything is just fine.

Edit: aaaand let's give away another penalty off the kick off. Another try to Melbourne! This team is a pisstake
