I find it odd the club hasn't announced an update on forans injury. The longer it goes on the more hope i have that he's actually good to play and they've purposely leaked wrong info to badel to further discredit him as a journalist.

Those familiar with the News Corp global ideology will recognise how Badel gets the key position he holds. They are a rank but very successful organisation feeding on the gullibility of their viewers/readers. They know more about exploitation and propaganda than other system on the planet.

Round 2 team: Foran to start in Verrills' 50th appearance
    https://www.titans.com.au/news/2023/...th-appearance/

Kieran Foran will be given every opportunity to prove his fitness in Sam Verrills' 50th NRL game, named in the No. 6 jersey for Sunday night's derby with the Dragons.

The five-eighth is set to run out alongside halves partner Tanah Boyd, with Jayden Campbell again to provide spark off the interchange bench.

Fresh off signing an extension that will keep him on the Coast for another three seasons, David Fifita will again partner Joe Stimson in the back-row.

Both the starting side and the bench remain unchanged from the 17 that defeated Wests Tigers in Round 1.

Foran's been named and might be racing the clock. Hard to tell without any intel.

If he's out, who should be our 14? I don't think it's Randall as we seem to have middles covered and Verrills can play huge minutes. Spry could be an emergency for outside backs but Kini seems the best fit for me. Call me crazy! Just can't see Toby getting the 14.

Well I'm stunned. What 24hours for the Titans. Hope it's not gamesmanship. I'll be happy if he even goes close.

It's got to be Kini at 14 if JC comes in to 6 unless we just load up on big guys but we don't really need to. If JC does come in I'm really excited to see it, I'd rather rest Foran for Storm if he's not 100%. I think JC can do the job against Dragons at least.

We also have the whole 7 days for him to recover if it's a cork so you can give him the time.

I think id rather Boyd JC in the halves with Kini on the bench then Boyd Sexton with Randall on the bench not much spark or creativity there

Seems odd to name him after these comments?? Are they just keeping pressure off whoever comes in? Unless more info has come in after this convo.

Edit: I think the Holbrooks comments were before the scan had come in.

Yeah, doesn't look likely he will be able to play. Team still looks better than the Dragons so that's a bonus.

Listening to the full interview gives a bit more context to those comments

Sounds like it's still tbc but unlikely he'll play.

Thanks HS, I thought it was from yesterday and they might've gotten different news today, I'd rather not risk Foran if there's a chance of a bigger injury if it's not a cork. We still don't really have any info on what it actually is the injury. We'll know by Friday.

On the interview Everyone has talked about how Verrills and Foran has completely changed the culture. The best pick ups we might've had and they came off the back off being outed out of their clubs.

I think I like JC at 6, I at least want to see it and if it's against anyone it's probably best against Dragons.

Yeah the fact that interview was on Monday and then he got named on Tuesday still gives me slight hope, maybe they got the scans and saw theres no ligament damage. I still don’t think he will play this week but if he’s a possibility for next week I’ll be stoked
