Genuinely excited for the first time in months with the team shake up and blooding some of our young guns.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrSpOPoJvwo <- watched this for some of booth's highlights, he's got a lot of promise from what I see here and I hope he gets a chance to shine Saturday.

Not expecting anything crazy from the debutants but lets hope their excitement to get on lights a fire under some of the dead weight!

A long shot but hopefully a combination of his little brothers debut, the current narrative around his performance and against his old club is enough for big Fifita to create some magic also.

Phew! I really thought we had lost him!

Judiciary update: Tino given green light for derby despite charges
    https://www.titans.com.au/news/2022/...spite-charges/

Gold Coast Titans captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui is free to back-up and play in this Saturday's Macca's Local Derby against the Broncos despite getting charged by the match review committee following the Origin decider.

Being placed on report in the ninth minute, the inspirational skipper received a Grade 2 Careless High Tackle for the contact on Matt Burton, and received a further charge (Grade 1 Dangerous Contact) for his involvement in the 41st minute melee.

But despite those two charges, he has been given the green light to return on Saturday night should he elect to take the early guilty plea, which will see him fined a combined 20 percent of his Origin match fee.

Fa'asuamaleaui has not entered a plea at this time.

Thanks for the link! I haven't seen this before. I'm also excited for debutants and also the team, which is nearly the best we can do in the circumstances. Let's see what the off field shake up and pressure has had on the team and our patterns.

Im a sucker for a debutant jersey presentation video.

    Highly recommend. Great watch.

Sounds like JoJo's parents should replace Jimmy Dymock! If the boys can't put in a motivated commited performance tomorrow then we might as well fold

If you haven’t watched it then invest in 4 quality minutes.

Sorry but if we can't beat that side the Broncs are putting out there tonight then this team deserves to be playing QLD Cup, not NRL. It's still a good lineup but absolutely nowhere near full strength. Absolutely zero excuses for us tonight.

Good luck Titans. Hopefully the changes and attitude make a difference.

Late mail: Holbrook's plan for Tino in Macca's Local Derby
    https://www.titans.com.au/news/2022/...s-local-derby/

Gold Coast Titans captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui will start from the bench in the Macca's Local Derby clash against the Broncos with Justin Holbrook making the late switch ahead of kick off.

Backing up from an incredible Origin performance in Maroon playing a monumental 56 minutes to help Queensland defeat New South Wales 22-12, the skipper will play an impact role from the pine, opening the door for Erin Clark to begin at lock after the Titans coach earlier this week outlined his plan for the talented ball-player moving forward in the new middle third role.

The Gold Coast will also see two new players make history, with Jojo Fifita and Aaron Booth making their club debuts in the highly-anticipated contest - the clash being 19-year-old flyer Fifita's first game in the NRL.

The Gold Coast will hope to square the ledger against the Broncos when the rivalry reignites at 7.35pm.
