Cowboys are a revelation. Remember when the headhunters were coming for Payten?! The Cowboys have ressurrected much sooner than I expected and now they are bagging and tagging Melbourne and no excuse to say they got ambushed either because it was their second loss in a row.

Cowboys form offers hope for us too.

Why can’t our halves play on one side it’s makes our attack so one dimensional, have a look at how many times Moylan and Hynes combine creates more opportunities, brimson and sexton just stand on either side something Holbrook needs to look at

I think more line speed in the kick chase would be good.

    Fermor with a try saver

Our defence looks a lot more settled and co-ordinated today

The Cowboys made a massive effort at improving their individual tackling in the off season and it shows. They now trust each other to make a tackle and their confidence and attack has flourished as a result.
JWall, what an enigma. On that try (on the wide angle) you could see him just standing watching and then as soon as it looked like coming back to the middle his first action was to check the defensive line of the sharks and then he sprinted at that hole.
Overall happy so far but we need to stay strong defensively.

Not bagging his effort but Sami is not a center.

He really has improved his involvements this year, he looks hungry. If BK showed half that he would still be in the team.

Proud of the defence so far, that edge of Marsters and Liu has been doing quite well, Marsters has been rushing up at the right moments and shutting down plays.
