And perhaps there should be more field work instead of video for the "young guns". Putting forwards into gaps isn't rocket science but takes practice I would have thought. A very reassuring quote from our 7:

"It's not these massive problems we're seeing, they're only minor things and they're easy to fix.

We're putting the work in. It's not like we're not doing well at training. We're doing a lot of video as a team and things are going to turn sooner rather than later."

Yep, only a few "minor things" like: driving hard in tackles, aggressive line-speed, passing accurately, running hard, communicating positively and maintaining at least some semblance of discipline ... etc.

Yes. Credit where credit is due and its easy to see why Isaako wasn't needed. Their raw talent and potential is obvious and they just needed a general to get them going. In our case we have a lot of pain to come with young halfs just learning their trade and I am afraid a lot of our players seem to be playing at the extent of their potential.

Comes across as a coach who we all thought was smarter than I'm starting to think he actually is as an NRL coach. He had a full offseason to work out how to properly use Fifita yet still nothing has changed.
