We’re excited to announce the launch of the partnership between the KARI Foundation and the Gold Coast Titans.

Partnering together in the education space, the partnership aims to highlight the aboriginal excellence that exists both on and off the field within our club, and to facilitate real outcomes for Indigenous youth in Southeast Queensland and the Northern Rivers through scholarships and education.

Announcing the partnership, Titans CEO Steve Mitchell believes the association with the KARI Foundation is an important step in closing the gap and helping indigenous youth to excel.

“This partnership is about empowering our First Nations people, particularly our youth, because we want them to thrive going forward.”

KARI Foundation CEO, Casey Ralph, said she and the Foundation are excited to be partnering with a club that continues to champion Aboriginal Excellence both on and off the field.

“We really aim to showcase the Aboriginal excellence that exists and I think the Titans have done that in terms of being the club with a really strong contingent of Aboriginal players that represent in both the Men’s and Women’s League.”

Speaking at the launch about what this partnership means to the club, CEO Steve Mitchell believes the partnership is an opportunity to empower first nations people in our community.

“This is such an exciting day for the organisation, helping us to resource this program and bring some real outcomes out of that space in the coming years.”
