A hint on a trial match.
Rehab Report: Titans to hit the ground running after break
Titans High Performance Manager Klint Hoare says that the club is in a good shape ahead of the Christmas break.
With players returning at different times across the pre-season, some players are six weeks in, while others are only half that amount.
Hoare says that while there have been two injuries in the pre-season, the prospect for both are really good come the new year and trials.
"On the injury front we have got Tino Fa'asuamaleaui who has picked up an MCL injury just through some wrestle contact," Hoare said.
"We have got Jimmy Jolliffe still with his hamstring injury but he is now back into his return to run program so that is exciting.
"Tino actually gets the brace off this week and will return to some light jogging work at the back end of the week.
There is no worry of either Titans regular missing the key trials though.
"Both players will be spot on for trials and we will be targeting trial two against the warriors," Hoare said.
"Tino will join the pre-season block in week two (after the break) and Jolliffe will be back in by then also."
The other man on the injured list for the Titans is development player, Aaron Booth, who joined the Titans from Melbourne this off-season after having a shoulder reconstruction.
"Boothy unfortunately picked up a little bit of a fragment in the knee from a previous injury so something has dislodged it and it got caught," Hoare said.
"He had a little bit of exploratory surgery and gotr it all cleaned up and he is actually back on the field this wek and hopefully post-Christmas he will be good to go.
"His shoulder is doing well and he just got the A-OK from the surgeon so we are hoping to ramp up his contact post-Christmas and then hoping he will be back for the first or second trial."
Big hint that we will play the Warriors in a trial game over the pre season.

Is there no match vs bears this year? Announcement from club only mentions Broncos and warriors. Would have to assume the Broncos match would include the train and trial players mostly.
Nothing official but they may opt to put the JTS + Development boys against either Burleigh or Tweed ISC to get them some game time without it taking minutes off genuine NRL-ready depth. They did this a few years ago but didn’t classify it as an official trial.
I understand it’ll likely be Tweed this year and not Burleigh if they do opt to do so.
Looks like its going to be a covid distrupsted season and they will allow development players and juniors all season long so it seems like its more important than ever that the club primes the top 32-35 players.
