Gold Coast Titans CEO Steve Mitchell has today launched the Club's 'Building Titans' 2030 Roadmap.

It is a landmark day for the club that has also seen the announcement of a new Club logo - learn more here.

The strategic plan - which can be viewed here - details the club's key priorities between now and 2030.

Mitchell said the plan was about creating sustained success on and off the field for the club while making the Legion of supporters proud.

"We are delighted to be able to provide clarity on our strategic priorities which will guide where we allocate our time and resources," Mitchell said.

"Our efforts will focus on on-field success, future NRL and NRLW player development, a world class fully integrated high performance training facility, financial excellence, and ensuring every seat in Cbus Super Stadium has a Member's name on it."

Mitchell said that by making the plan public he wanted to make sure the club's Members and fans were a part of the journey.

"Our goal is to bring Premierships home to the Coast," Mitchell said.

"By outlining a clear roadmap of what lies ahead, we hope to take you on the journey and make you a part of our very exciting future."

The full document can be viewed here.

The Gold Coast Titans also announced that current partner MyPayNow would be moving to the front of jersey and Principal Partner position from 2022 onwards.

I haven't had a chance to read this yet. But I look forward to pouring over it with you later today.

Seems like the introduction of the Dolphins has had the Titans reassess and focus their ambitions and strategies. I hope we can do more to stake our claims in Logan and northern NSW.

15 pages and it's mainly graphics. And some paragraphs of marketing buzzwords. There is nothing to discuss here.

There has to be more, surely.

This is one of those powerpoints when you forget to prepare any actual content for so you just slap some nice images together and wing it

I was thinking exactly the same thing! The graphics are eye catching. But gee.... 1/10 for substance here.

Four titles by 2030: New look Titans aiming high
    https://www.nrl.com/news/2021/10/20/...s-aiming-high/

The Gold Coast Titans have declared their ambition to win two NRL and two NRLW premierships by 2030 and to sell out home matches at CBUS Stadium to ticketed members before the start of each season.

Titans CEO Steve Mitchell outlined the club’s lofty aims as he and star players Tino Fa'asuamaleaui, AJ Brimson, Tony Sexton, Tazmin Gray and Tiana Raftstrand-Smith launched a strategic plan for the next nine years.

The club also launched a new logo and announced that current partner MyPayNow would become the major sponsor of their men's and women's teams.

"Our goal is to bring premierships home to the Coast," Mitchell said.

The key targets of the Building Titans 2020 Road Map are listed as:

2+2: Two NRL premierships and two NRLW premierships
27,350: Every seat at CBUS Super Stadium has a name
A commercial Titan: Exceptional financial strength

After making the finals this season, Mitchell said the Titans believed that the current playing squad could deliver an NRL premiership by 2025 under Justin Holbrook and the young talent coming through behind them was capable of a second premiership in the following five years.

The Gold Coast’s new NRLW team, which will play two competitions next season, were expected to quickly become premiership contenders.

“We believe we have got the playing roster, the youth and the value set to deliver that in the years ahead and not just one – between now and 2030 we want to land two NRLW premierships, and two NRL premierships,” he said.

“They are not small aspirations … but that is what we plan to deliver, and we are going to work hard at delivering that for our communities.

“Everything that comes with that will be building our connection with our community, delivering 27,350 members into this stadium so that every seat in this stadium has a name on it and every seat in this stadium is a member.

“If you want to come to a game, we can put you outside next to a screen and you can watch it there until you become a member. This stadium has got to be a cauldron.

“In order to deliver this between here and 2030 we need to become a commercial titan and we will run this organisation as a business, and we will deliver the best programs that our kids can find and our player group can have, and support them in their endeavours to be the best they can be.”

Brimson and Sexton are Gold Coast juniors, while Fa'asuamaleau grew up on the Sunshine Coast but has strong ties to the Titans as his brother Iszac is among the talented youngsters in the club’s development program.

Among them are Australian Schoolboys representatives Tom Weaver, Ryan Foran and Jack Cullen, along with six other members of the Palm Beach-Currumbin team which won the NRL Schoolboys Cup Queensland final.

David Fifita, Jayden Campbell and Moeaki Fotuaika are other local juniors now starring for the club.

“We feel that this group going forward over the next three seasons has the ability to put a lot of time together, train together, build those relationships and understand what they are doing,” Mitchell said.

“As athletes they are second to none, I think, in the code, so I would think that we are going to have a premiership window some time in the first half of that strat plan.

“Beyond that, our Future Titans program … there are some wonderful athletes, who grew up on the coast and want to play at home.

“If we hold those guys, bring them on and bring in more high quality people like Tino, that will give us an opportunity to create a window in the second half of that strat plan.

“We have got nine years to deliver it and we know the work that is involved but in order to get there we need to state it so that we know where we are.”

The Roadmap … if underwhelming was music, the roadmap would the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Four reasons to escape to Queensland: Sun, Surf, Sand & the Titans.
