Unfortunately the Titans have had a little bit of history with having halves that a good but not great in the long term. Prince to start with but was coming to the end of his career, then Sezer who had that one good year at the Raiders but didn’t do much for us (unfortunately was at the club at a rubbish time), then LG who like sexton and weaver was an Australian schoolboys half but crueled through injury never quite kicked on, then ATay showed glimpses but I think just didn’t have a strong mindset and lost his way pretty easy. All I’m saying is we need to be cautious with how we bring these young fellas through

You're right and a lot of clubs are in the same boat. It's a position scarce of franchise quality and NRL level demands so much of compared to lower grades. I mean Jamal Fogarty is the best example right - the best Qcup halfback for many years but what he showed at NRL was that he was a mediocre halfback at best.

I'd say of all 16 clubs, only 1 or 2 can say with certainty taht they a top tier halfback they can build around for the next 5 years.

Why does it list Sami as a centre and Jojo as a winger?

Can ignore some of the position listings - it's usually just whatever box the NRL ticked when they first registered in the NRL system.

Sami has always been listed as a centre ever since he's been with the NRL squad

Ok lads, lasses and others, lets have a little vote and based on those playing lists alone: is it Burleigh or Tweed, by how much and why?I'll kick off for the first time in my life:1. Burleigh 2. By 6 3. Had to pick one.
Four reasons to escape to Queensland: Sun, Surf, Sand & the Titans.

I would go Burleigh based on 2 points thinking the pack would get on top. Would be a pretty good match to watch

    Snippert from the DT

    SHOOSH

Which two experienced Gold Coast Titans players have struggled during the pre-season and are unlikely to be included in the NRL starting line-up for round one of the competition unless they produce something exceptional in the trials.

    A bit concerning

Did I just see Jonah Lomu resurrected at Parramatta? Or was it Eric Grothe?
    Great run DF

Anyone have an idea who the two are? Proctor and Wallace?

Ese Ese and Proctor/Marketers is my hope, which would make it a bit of a nothing story and would be pretty on par for regular Mole KaBoOmS. Maybe Kelly though? I know he has had some criticisms of his training
    Bring back Kevin Gordon
