    Fogarty two years ago, great

    Fogarty last year, less inspiring

Yes Fogerty in 2021 went backwards from his form of 2020.

Lets be 100% honest for a second, Fogarty had a rotten time out on the right because our hookers were giving him terrible service (Both Rein and Clarke could not do left to right), the defence was in this face by the time he got the ball. Also he seemed to stand too far away from the ruck, I understand thats how its meant to be done today but the ball just didnt come to him the way it was meant to. It was be interesting to see how he does at Canberra since their Hookers can pass the ball off the ground in one motion and get it to the first receiver.

Saw some occasions where the hooker had to go looking for him because no calls were given or control of the game taken. 2020 he took control, 2021 he faded. Only difference was no Peats, so not sure we can blame the hookers for Fogarty's lack of presence.

I don’t see a need to brutalize Fogarty but I’m looking forward to a better half’s combination.

Hopefully they can get some good service out of dummy half to get on the front foot early

I guess you could be right, its hard to know what was really going on without being on the field and on the coaching staff.

Last thing ill say is we all recognize Fogarty as being a key figure of the turn around we had in mid 2020 that all gave us hope and belief back into the Titans, it was very very dark days before that.

Titans forward Sam McIntyre has penned an extension that will see him remain on the Coast until the end of the 2023 season.

After making his NRL debut in 2020 at Wests Tigers, McIntyre joined the Titans last season playing 10 games.

The versatile forward can plan through the middle and on an edge and has already impressed plenty in his time on the Gold Coast.

Titans Coach Justin Holbrook says he’s thrilled that McIntyre has extended his time at the Club.

“Sam is only 23 years old and is still at the beginning of his NRL career, so his game is going to continue to grow.

“He’s only had two seasons in the competition and he’s already shown what he can do.

“Sam is putting in plenty of work this pre-season and I’m confident that we will see his game continue to improve in 2022."

Absolutely love this signing. See this is the difference between this and Sami signing. We haven’t seen the beat of McIntyre yet. We know he is a player that rips in, runs and tackles hard and plays with passion for his club but we also know he could potentially go to the next level and be a truly great forward. Geeze I like our forward park and depth right now

Love the re-signing of our young talent and this one especially … another one the Fins can’t get.

Gosh I hope he makes the team this year, I personally want to have Fifita off the bench and have him play the back 60 minutes and Sam Mac starting in 2nd row and moving to the middle for the rest of the game. I would say he could give Fermour bit of a rest on his side of the field too but after seeing Fermour play an amazing 80 against the Roosters last year I think he is one of those guys that just can go and go and go.
