Zero tackle reporting that it was the Titans who tabled the $1milion contract to Smith, the Warriors are going to offer huge money considering they have missed out on Manu, no news on Roosters yet and Storm are next to no chance of retaining Smith

I'd love to see Tino NOT be a Dolphins marquee player signing. Hope he gets sealed away.
Seems like we are very serious about Smith. That's huge money. What type of money are other hookers on?
PUT EM TO THE SWORD! SHOW SOME STEEL!

Brandon Smiths dad has come out on facebook and responded to the zero tackle article - he’s said that the Storms max offer is 725k, and the Titans did not offer $1mil.
I’ve always been a bit wary of Zero Tackle just because they don’t do any actual journalism. Instead they just consolidate other media reports and draw their own conclusions

To be fair HS, Michael Carayannis from The Daily Telegraph said that we offered him a mill, but yeah no journo’s are to be trusted and I’d imagine every salary figure is exaggerated. Did he say anything else, any hints about where he might end up?
A million makes for a good headline grab
Could all be just political talk. He may not have been offered a million it might be 3 million over three years or 1.05million a year. I wouldn't read much into what he says. Not that I trust the journalists to get it right either.
Psmitty
If anyone suggests Tyrone May I will permanently block them.
The latest from the Shane Smith facebook comments investigation unit:
-despite reports, the Warriors have not submitted an offer at all
-Cowboys have submitted an offer
Taylan May anyone?
Interesting from the cows when they have Robson and cotter, we should be pushing for one them two aswell
Remember when DCE's mum was posting stuff about not backflipping?
To me the cheese would be the final part of the equation for us. Apart from that what else do you think they are looking for in 2023. A decent centre? Apart from the mystery around the halves this has been a pretty stress free off-season (in contrast to day the eels who look like losing a good chunk of their guns).
We have locked up he absolute critical parts of our team (pending Tino) and honestly the club really needs to be commended for it. We know we have a good 3-4 years with the same young core so we just need the missing pieces
