Man those 2 runs he had in the 2nd half were insane, absolutely love the bloke. Thought him and Kelly were our best, you could see how much it meant to them and how much they wanted it. That's exactly what we want from our local juniors, and is hopefully a sign of the culture we're building.

Can we please buy Lachlan Lewis with the money Ash Taylor had
    He can kick field goals

Surely we must be looking at either Marate Niukore or Mike Chee Kam as solid depth signings that can play in the second row or center if needed. I think these are the two areas we are solid in but lack depth if we have a few injuries

Does anyone know how many spots on the full time list are needed to be filled for next year?

    Titans sign boom rookie
The Titans have pinched one of the best prospects from New Zealand in Amarni Wetini-Ngaropo.

A 15-year-old playmaker from Auckland Boys Grammar School, Wetini-Ngaropo has signed with the Titans until the end of 2024.

The youngster has also been placed on a scholarship with Keebra Park High - Benji Marshall's old school - and will play for the Burleigh Bears in the Cyril Connell Cup next season.

Although just 15, he played in Auckland Grammar's First XV rugby union team this season and is tipped for big things.

From the mole. Surely with all these young halves we got one of them will turn out to be our Joey Johns

Mdrew posted this a few weeks ago in the juniors thread. Scooped them all!

1st XV at Auckland Grammar as a 15 year old is a pretty big deal. Sounds like a very professional kid (a lot of this is in Te Reo Maori but you get the idea): https://www.teaomaori.news/gold-coas...en-him-succeed

100% a generational thing … and by the way bring back Morning of the Earth, deserted beaches … and the biff!

I put together a list the other day of all the players I believe we have signed in our top 30 for next season, their contract dates and rough estimates of how much they are on for the 2022 season. The contract dates and contract values are from numerous articles and posts in previous forums on here so im sure they aren't 100% accurate. Based off these numbers I think we have around 600k to fill our final roster spots with the minimum contract value being set at 120k for 2022.
    Tanah Boyd - 2022 - 300k
    AJ Brimson - 2026 - 600k
    Erin Clark - 2023 - 150k
    Herman Ese'ese - 2022 - 400k
    Tino Fa'asuamaleaui - 2023 - 700k
    David Fifita - 2023 - 1.2m
    Jamal Fogarty - 2023 - 300k
    Moeaki Fotuaika - 2024 - 650k
    Beau Fermor - 2024 - 250k
    Patrick Herbert - 2023 - 200k
    Jaimin Joliffe - 2024 - 200k
    Brian Kelly - 2023 - 300k
    Greg Marzhew - 2023 - 250k
    Sam Lisone - 2022 - 250k
Esan Marsters - 2022 - 200k (some still subsided by the Cowboys)
    Sam Mcintyre - 2022 - 200k
    Kevin Proctor - 2022 - 450k
    Phillip Sami - 2022 - 300k
    Corey Thompson - 2023 - 250k
    Jarrod Wallace - 2022 - 600k
    Toby Sexton - 2024 - 350k
    Paul Turner - 2023 - 200k
    Aaron Booth - 2022 - 150k
    Jayden Campbell - 2024 - 300k
    Isaac Liu - 2024 - 450k
    Jojo Fifita - 2023 - 120k
    Lofi Khan-pereira - 2023 - 120k

It seems weird to me that we only have 5 players at 600k or over.

Also there’s a bit of money to be freed up after next year and most of those contracts we won’t be renewing

How are the papers going to cope now that Fifita is no longer on that frontloaded apparent 1.2m? My bet is that they'll all conveniently ignore that detail in 2022. His originally reported salary from 2022 onwards now sits reasonably close to guys like Taumalolo, Jake Trbojevic, Andrew Fifita (lol), Klemmer & AFB. In reality we have no idea what that number is but I'm comparing reported figures to reported figures.

Anyone here listen to the Bloke in a Bar podcast? Denan Kemp does a good job of summarising Fifita's value for the season in his latest episode (wk 1 finals review w/ Brett Finch). Highly recommend listening. It's nice to have someone with some decent reach to the RL community providing a balanced opinion on it, and not just some guys at Fox Sports or the CM who death ride us to the moon and back.

Official confirmation that Tyrone Peachey, Ash Taylor & Mitch Rein won't return to the Titans in 2022.

Great news, sad that it didn't work out but best for all parties to move on.
