Not yet. I was listening to the ABC guys after our game and they mentioned a probable double header on Friday night at Suncorp. There is a thought that our game could have been a double header with the Manly game but our game is the first on Saturday and the Manly game is the third and last one. The middle Saturday game is the Cows at Townsville and they thought they would play it up there. The NRL have stuck pretty much with the times scheduled but they did move a Cows game forward a few weeks ago. They could make their game first and ours as a double header after that at CBus. They will need to reduce the traffic at Suncorp a bit as it will have heaps of games and finals to come.
Long winded - but to answer your question - no.

We’ve got to win one of the next two games against the heavyweights or we are just a lucky crap team lucky to be in finals contention
Time to get some genuine credibility

We are starting to look pretty strong right across the paddock except…not going to say it because I'm totally over it.

No thanks to a double-header at Suncorp on Friday...that would mean a 5-day turnaround for us while Souths have a full 8 days to rest up.

The Taylor/Kelly edge in defense and Clark worries me a lot.

Agreed. The Cows found a lot off gaps down our left side defence in the 2nd half resulting in 6 missed tackles down our left side compared to only 2 down our right side. In addition they made a lot of ground as our left defensive edge are not straight and do not work as one.
The only upside is that the Rabbits direct their attack predominantly down their left side

Yeah scarily I can see Latrell single handedly targeting BK's channel on our left edge and causing some damage. Could get ugly.

I said it earlier in the game. As soon as Fermor makes a tackle and is in marker they attack our blind side again as there is a Taylor/BK weakness to be exploited. I assume the lock/hooker should be filling that gap and strengthening that edge.

As for Latrell, we need a Chamberesque style binning early in the game.

I'd prefer to be a lucky crap team than an unlucky crap team. Making the 8 means sponsor $ and more fans better game times and slots regardless of how we make it

It really is situation dependent. It more comes down to counting the numbers in defence which is where AJ and Ash have the responsibility. However I observe that quite often Ash turns his back to get back into the defensive line which gives him no chance to count the numbers and see where the attack is going.

Yeah spot on JB and that responsibility is really shared by Brimmo, Ash as first man off the ruck or CT as the winger to call the negative reload on the short side numbers. Those middles are just eyes-up and reacting to wherever they're being told to go. Defs an issue
