We can jump from 11th to 7th with certain results this evening and tomorrow. I am going to guess and state that there will be more than one team coming 8th after round 25. Knights can be one of them as their for and against is horrible.

If we could do something creative around the 5/8 then our chances would increase dramatically IMO.

I couldn’t give two friars about our ladder position.
What I care about is the Win/Loss ratio and it’s terrible.
We are miles behind the top teams.
That’s what needs to be dealt with.

Agreed, I've never seen Bodsy this negative before, usually that's me. Making the 8 would be pretty huge after the rather average season that we've had, and finishing higher on the ladder than last year would be an achievement as well. In fact, I can't believe we're still in contention for a top 8 spot when a month ago I thought for all money we were gone, and finishing lower than last year.

But of course, that could still happen especially if we let teams run rampant over us over the next month. Every opponent here on in will be extremely tough no matter where they sit on the ladder, but the likes of Melbourne, Souths and even Newcastle with Ponga and then Pearce back scare me.

To get where we need to be and compete we need to get much closer to a 50% win record. The bottom of the 8 is highly misleading.
We are way off. That’s why we need 3 more years to raise the cup.
