    Yes. It's a disappointing year....again. But there is always the next game. Though I must say, the Dragons, despite their problems, didn't play too badly last week. Thank goodness there are so many mediocre teams we are still in with a chance.

    Could Sexton get the call up this week or do we see a JC / Sexton halves combo ?

    Is Ash hurt? I thought they'd just bring Boyd back in. I'm excited to see who replaces Sami and hope we send CT to his preferred side where he carves.

    Football almost always sets you up for disappointment. Sixteen teams and only one winner. The odds of joy are pretty low, (6.6%). Firstly one team gets the spoon, (oh how embarrassment) , another seven team miss the eight (unlucky, injuries, unfair draw, ref errors, bias, blah blah blah)..
    Two more teams get knocked out in week one of the finals (lucky to make the eight and just making up the numbers).

    Then four more eliminations (with various reasons to throw shade at half of your team that need the sack), before a Grand Final with one winner, and one team totally despondent at getting so close to glory.

    Imagine the disappointment of being a Storm supporter and not winning every year , even worse being a Drongoes supporter , and not being entitled to a top four spot every year (just because).

    We need to be better , we have been very patient , our time will come.

    A game we should win but who knows anymore. Depends who decides to turn up and can the other players cover for the repeat offenders who have no business starting for us.

    Good on him. Hopefully he smashes it. Good game for it, with the state of the Dragons at the moment.

    TOBY TIME: The
    @GCTitans
    will debut rookie halfback Toby Sexton against the Dragons on Sunday. He comes from the Aus Schoolboys class of 2019 that featured Sam Walker, Reece Walsh and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow. #NRL

    Yep. He's a good young player but I reckon he's a 7 that plays a role, kicks well and controls a team. He's not a Walsh type that will be making highlights every week.

    Proctor being next to him is a bummer...get Fermor on that right edge and watch Toby put him through holes

    I have watched Sexton play Qcup and his main strength is his kicking game. He is also pretty quick off the mark. I am excited for his debut and wish him well. I am sure he would have debuted several rounds ago other than for a niggling injury.
