Thompson tracking well, two other Titans back in the mix
    Titans.com.au

Titans winger Corey Thompson is closing in on an NRL return, while the side that played Melbourne in round 13 are all fit and available for selection.

It's good news on the injury front this week, with two Titans returning to the selection table and three more just weeks away.

Titans High Performance Manager, Klint Hoare, says there were no injuries to report from the weekends game on the Sunshine Coast.

"Although it was a physical encounter the only concern resulted from head knock to Jaimin Jolliffe who passed all his HIA protocols on the day," Hoare said.

"Jaimin will be monitored during the week accordingly with medical staff confident he'll be good to go for game against the Roosters this weekend."

Jonus Pearson returns to the park this weekend after a layoff with a knee injury.

"He has completed his return to play rehabilitation program after suffering a grade two MCL strain earlier in the season," Hoare said.

"He is now available for selection after completing some solid contact work and being involved within full training last week."

Three other key Titans are close to their return in further good news for the Gold Coast squad.

"Sam Lisone (pectoral tear), Corey Thompson (syndesmosis) and Beau Fermor (hamstring strain) strain all continue to track nicely," Hoare said.

"The likelihood is Sam Lisone will be available for selection for the Sea Eagles (round 15) which is a testament to his application to rehab but also the work of the physio team here at the Titans.

"Corey Thompson is projecting towards round 16 against Canberra and Beau Fermor is also on track for that game.

"With the bye weekend prior, that'll give him an extra training week to build strength and high end speed exposures."

Herman Ese'ese is also available for selection this week after returning from his three-game suspension.

"Herman has been put through a mini preseason and although this has exposed him to rugby league game like loadings for a player who plays his position (middles) there is nothing that replicates game intensity like an actual game does.

"We will see Herman available for selection with the Tweed Heads Seagulls in the Intrust Super Cup this weekend, which will allow Herman the ability to get game minutes and the ability to push for NRL selection going forwards."

Two more games without CT. That's hurting us more than the origin layoffs.

He wouldn't let us down. He'd do us proud.
