Good to see QLD copying from our play book. Hit up x4, kick to the wing and hope.

Man QLD were so bad. There were only a handful wearing Maroon that even looked like NRL players.

Yea it's been really painful being a Maroon Titan!

Totally agree. He hasn't gone unnoticed.

I really worry that the young Maroons have been reading their own publicity and have grown up with the Maroons success. Where to me it was always on the shoulders of an amazing generation of players. The QLD spirit stems from the attitudes prior to 1980.

Well we have AJ, Ponga, Walker and Grant to return. Not sure if it'll this year or next.

    NSW were too good.

NSW were far too good and allowed to revel in it instead of being reminded that there were two teams on the field. Players like Gagai really needed the middles to get stuck in on their behalf. Papalii is not an enforcer, he's just a big middle who was completely dominated by the two Fijians (that's in NSW :-) not complaining, good luck to them like Uate) Saifiti and Sims. I have to comment again, can't somebody teach Fifita to stand deep and goddamned run at the defence. Holmes is not an Origin fullback in the same way that Wayne's Boyd wasn't. Ponga will help there next time. I'd take any of Smith, Slater, Cronk or Carl Barron over Green right now.

I don't know if any of you can remember Bruce Hatcher playing in the backrow/centres for Easts Tigers but he's managed to carry his form into the new Century. Further trivia on Hatcher was on the eve of representative selection in the early 70's, I can't remember precisely when, he slipped on the clubhouse stairs wearing metal spikes (remember those) and injured himself basically out of his career.

QLD could use a John Payne type right about now. DH he was a Wests junior before he was stolen by your mob and then off to the Bears.

I have very little time these days and I pretty much only can watch two games in full on a weekend now and that’s always the Titans and Suns.

I’m a full on league bloke who grew up in both Cronulla and here.

However, this is no exaggeration, when I have a choice to watch League or AFL and neither the Titans or Suns are playing I now am choosing to watch AFL.

It’s not like AFL has improved either, it’s just I can’t stand the 6 agains and the soft sin bins ruining games and the blow out score lines.
There’s no violence and it’s far too easy now to score a try.

You don’t even need to be clever anymore to put a try on.

    Thanks for listening.

The six again rule is out of control and it does ruin the flow of the game that I'm used to.

I can't stand having tries revoked.

Not sure this is where I should post this but even though we are in lock down we have a great day of footy in front of us and especially watching Storm rip the Panthers a new one
