Boyd was solid, Sexton struggled a bit, Campbell was good but had some poor positioning and wasn’t provided with good, front-foot ball. Our middles got dominated with the exception of Erin Clark who played well.Originally Posted by GCTTSD
My thoughts:
Great - Marzhew (he looked like a player in a video game where you max out their stats for fun - ridiculous attacking display).
Good - Spry, Lofi, Pearson, JC, Fermor, Clark
Pass-mark - Boyd, Farmer, Ese-ese
Below par - Sexton, Stone, Whitbread, Powell,
Very poor - the entire bench (ie train and trialists + a few others)
Just my opinion and it is ofc only a trial. Shallin Fuller the young half at Burleigh is one to keep an eye on. He tore us apart.
edit: rewatching now and Ese-ese was better than I gave him credit for..he'll be glad to know he has bene promoted to my "pass-mark" category
