No charges pressed and an embarrassing story is all that Fifi is left to deal with, really. Maybe it's not a great look at face value but all we really have here is an innocent misunderstanding. If I woke up to a 110kg behemoth mistakingly walking into my house on a Sunday morning I think I'd call the police before rationalising as well.

Easy pickings for a media headline but not much of a story.

Can’t judge unless we know the full story, don’t always believe what the media spits out just for a story.. obviously nothing in it for the police to do anything with.. can’t blame the drink either as we don’t even know the full story.. move along..

I’m judging. He’s embarrassed us. This is a chance for him to have a good look At himself and for our leadership to say to him that a million dollar man should make million dollar choices.

If you are taken to the cop shop then something is very wrong with your choices.

Bods you should work for the media, because you love to overreact.

He literally just walked into the wrong house.

Imagine that you've been invited to someone's house. You arrive at night when it's dark. You're looking for the right house but you can't see the numbers on the letterboxes. Maybe they don't even have numbers. You walk up to what you think is the right house and enter only to realise you're in the wrong house. You don't cause a fuss and leave, but the residents call the cops anyway. The cops investigate and decide to release you without charge.

That's what happened here and calling for him to be crucified for something that has likely happened to most of us at some point in our life is absurd. His pay packet should have nothing to do with it.

Welcome to the forum and hope you keep posting.
You are probably right and I don’t want him punished or fined or anything like that BUT he needs some self-reflection to ensure he sets himself high standards and doesn’t go on to be one of those blokes that’s constantly in the news for the wrong reasons.
We want to be proud of him.

Have to agree bods, u do over react abit.. until you know the full story, no need for him to do anything, we have all most likely gone somewhere by mistake without realising.. I walked into a shopping centres female toilet once by mistake.. thought it was odd there was no normal places to piss haha.. lucky no women were there.. obviously there is nothing in the story and whoever wrote that crap article is bored and has nothing to justify there job so there really strolling ppls instagrams and looking for something to report..

No matter how much you get paid, we are all human and he didn’t do anything bad so no need to jump on him just cause of his pay packet and status in the game.. a lot worse crap going on out there like the bronco Hopoate being done for domestic and drunk driving

Hahaha...I did that at an NRL GF a few years back. The wife saw me heading there and did a fair bit of yelling but I have bad Tinitus and only hear garbage in noisy environments so I didn’t hear her. Same thing with me though.....no females at the sinks.. A few closed doors though so I made a hasty exit.

I don't want to crucify him, just keep him out of the headlines. Sure we all have done stupid things:

In a different time and a different world (1973), a late mate of mine and I after playing against the Devils at Bash-up Park and then heading over to one of their team's houses for a bbq and a few drinks, we decided to sleep in the car rather than drive home (remember those days when the police would ask who you played for then escort you home rather than lock you up?). We woke up seriously discombobulated and dry as a bone. We headed back down the street to the scene of the crime, found the kitchen amongst the litter, read their paper, drank their orange juice and were about to cook toast when some irate bloke asked "WTF!?!" We were in the house next door where there had been a similar event a day earlier but they hadn't got round to cleaning up ... no police though and became mates until he passed a few years ago.

A few of the squad that is still on the GC got together to be put through some conditioning today with one of the trainers. Fogarty, AJ, J-Wal, Peachey, Joe Vuna, Jayden Campbell, Patrick Herbert & David Fifita.

Good to see some of the boys went in for a fitness session today even though they're not required back for another week or so. From the pics on instagram it looks like Jwall, Fifita, Peachey, Herbert, Fogarty and Jayden Campbell were there. Must say Peachey is looking really fit. There was also a photo of AJ there today running so seems like his recovery is going well

My bad HS you beat me by a minute haha

Brett Kimmorley has us in the top 4 for next year and Robbie Farah in the 8. Good times ahead.

Happy New Year everyone. I know it is a quiet time of year for the forum but I am really looking forward to watching Sam McIntyre this year. He seems to be going a hundred miles an hour at training and is a good talker so i'm thinking he might get a bench spot starting round 1. Could be the buy of the year for us. Also looking forward to seeing a full year of Corey Thompson he is slowly becoming a favourite of mine. Wow the Tigers over the years have let some good players go.
