Hi HS, I have heard a few different things about Klese Haas, including that he is training with the Titans. I will try to confirm. I have not heard about Jahream though.

Not necessarily the thread for it but a huge congrats to the Melbourne Storm. Hard not to respect and acknowledge how much of an elite sporting franchise they are and what an oustanding achievement this years premiership is after what they had to endure. Good on them.

On our squad - mdrew, is it true Klese Haas is doing pre-season with our NRL squad? If so, does this mean Jahream Bula is as well?

Haas joked there was no way of joining his mates at the Titans, "especially now David has taken all the money", but added another Haas, Payne's younger brother Klese, would join them in the pre-season.

I don't know if we could afford him but Ricky leutele would be a good signing for center depth now that the wolfpack are officially kicked out

Thought I read some where that he signed just for this year as there was always the intention to return to the Wolf Pack.

I think he just signed for this year like sbw having the intention that he would go back to the superleague with the wolfpack next year

    Gold Coast Titans

Have 27 players locked in with Ash Taylor's the biggest deal up for negotiation in 2021. Both captain Kevin Proctor and incoming prop Herman Ese'ese have options in their favour for 2022.

    This is according to NRL.com.

That same article has Proctor as a club option (CO) for 2022? Don't know which is correct. I would hope the CO. On the topic of 2021 deals, I would hope we are making Kelly's extension a priority as well.

Brimson injured with a foot injury. Requires surgery.

    NRl Physio

Shock injury news, with AJ Brimson out for the series after suffering a Lisfranc (midfoot) injury late in Game 1. Has consulted with a specialist & will remain in camp for now, if damage significant enough & surgery required usually 3-5 month recovery. Hopefully not the case

If it’s a 5 month injury that could be significant for next season plus he gets no pre season. Awful.

Hope so. We need him in the team from week 1 next season.

Hipgrave doesn't make our top 17. Not sure why people want him in the team. Needs to learn to not miss tackles and make meters, the simple stuff.
