My email says Fogarty so I'm living in hope just waiting to be put out of my misery with the shocking news that KP is here again. Personally if I was McIntyre I'd be looking for a release. If I was Fermor I'd give my agent instructions to get me out of here. If I was Tino I'd be hoping the new team is in Brissie soon so you can exercise your out.

I was having a good Friday till this.

Fermor has cleaned up his errors in recent months to the point where he should own that starting 2RF spot. Hell, I even rate McIntyre over KP too. If it's true that the club has re-signed him then I don't know what the hell they were thinking. FT mentioned his defence but he has some shockers too - like the Ben Hunt try a few weeks ago where he completely left Toby out to dry. He is just too old and slow.

The KP signing reeks of our recruitment unable to attract quality players unless we pay overs. How we never entered into discussions with Capewell who accepted less than Proctors current contract just beggars belief and it confirms my low opinion of our recruitment section

There's only about 4 teams in the comp that can attract quality players without paying somewhat overs

Signing Capewell wouldn't have been a better option either, more expensive and would need a longer term. Waste of a roster spot. Hence why the club didn't chase him. We've got edge backrowers. The issues is that we're rewarding poor on-field contribution with KP extending

Hope the club keeps him around in some sort of capacity, although he didn't set the world on fire compared to some other wingers, he was our cult hero, he did good for the community, he is a good ambassador for the team and he leads the team song when we celebrate. All the best Donny, I remember when you took unders to stay loyal to us, that is a real show of character when we needed it!

Nobody else with a comment on the Don? Yeah, there’s been some crappy extensions today but we need to acknowledge a great clubman who filled a role for peanuts. Seems a genuine nice guy and a proud Titan. Thanks.

To clarify -

Dom Loudon (9 News reporter) tweeted earlier today that KP had re-signed for 2022. Twitter meltdown ensued from the Titans twitter fans (they're actually an ok bunch, I'm not one of them but be lurkin')

Fast forward to this afternoon, Titans announce Jamal extending (which had been reported in the CM a few weeks ago and we'd spoken about on the forum) until end of 2023

So either it's a coincidence, or Dom has got her wires crossed and I've just ruined everyones Friday oops

I agree and would say he is on nothing like what KP is on. Sign neither in my book, although Fogs would offer slightly more as a QCup depth layer than KP does.

Yep great clubman but it’s time. Glad to hear he will be involved with the juniors system.

KP signing announced on GC News and says they have taken up the club option . That means we are paying him $600 k for next year. No wonder our recruitment just have no idea
