Win this and the media will talk about how bad Canberra were and never give any credit to us! We will need to win a few good games to change the critics! Hopefully a big change of attitude and some new players will bring us of the bottom of the ladder

I wouldn’t care about the media’s response if we won. A win away against the GF runners up and we have a swagger.

In a very difficult ground to win at. And big home support for the Raiders is assured.

A big test to kick off 2020 for us.

I guess our chances are on the up with Curtis Scott and his little incident. Tigers officially signed Leilua and Rapana, from memory, was off to Japanese Rugby. Hopefully leaves the Raiders a little short handed for our game.

Yeah it will be interesting. They have a few good young guys that could stand up. But you would think that side of the play will be be a little weaker.

I just want the boys to compete.

I want to see Peachey play 40-50 mins in a ball playing lock role with Arrow shifting to prop. From what I saw of Peach at the 9s, I think he offers too much creativity to be stuck at centre. That means Watkins comes in at centre, Rein drops off the bench and Peats plays 80 as a tackle bot. I’m not opposed to SCT’s lineup though.

That would be my preference too. And if Peachey was to play that role I’d have Hipgrave in over Whitbread to provide more impact

    1. Brimson
    2. Sami
    3. Copley (till he breaks)
    4. Kelly
    5. Pearson/GL
    6. Taylor
    7. T. Boyd
    8. Arrow
    9. Peats
    10. Wallace
    11. Proctor
    12. Cartwright
    13. Whitbread
    14. Peachey
    15. MoFo
    16. Farmer
    17. S. Boyd

It's actually hard to come up with a team that is well balanced and we are talking about round 1.

I would keep Whitbread in over Hipgrave. I see Whitbread as a future leader of our pack and Hipgrave as a future admin assistant.
