I do have some mail that it’s Latu.
I’ve been afraid of sharing it in case I build your hopes up and it turns out to be wrong.

Would make sense to be him as it's been quiet on his front whereas Boyd and Carty have both come out and said they will fight for their future. Hope you are right Sunny and Bods

1-Latu is definitely the player I most want out
2-I don’t like sticking my neck out with rumour

Supposedly this has been picked as our official team song. What an absolute joke and embarrassment. We're already copping it on social media for this, the club seriously has no idea.
I was shocked to see this pop up on social media off the back of a TV news report. And not an email to members.

From what I heard of it it is very generic. The YouTube link is now private.

I love the Living End, yea it'd be expensive but just crowdfund it.

Went to training today for a few hours and I must say that there was quite a good mood at training. Justin is really particular and todays training centred all on defence. He we actively getting players to stand particular ways and places in certain situations and the two Jim's were mirroring exactly what Justin was doing as well. Flash was really vocal in helping the back three as well.
    Just a few points ,
GL looked fitter but still a bit off but was getting praises from Justin in defence.
Erin Clarke played at dummy half in the seconds team so he might be to give us depth and he looked pretty good as well.
T Boyd looked sharp and pretty chirpy.
Taylor looks fit and looked like he is getting the enjoyment back.
Roberts not sighted in the first team Peachy played 5/8.
    Proctor Leftside and Carty Right.
Iione Sulli trained in the tight 5 squad and didn't look out of place.
The young bloke who plays fullback for the seconds has a ton of speed and pretty elusive .
S Boyd looked pretty fit and was first or second in the fitness drills that were done. Heaps of talk from him.
Farmer and Hipgrave were off in the non contact group and ran non stop for the 2 hours that I was there for both looked fit though.
Sorry to say that we probably won't see Mo for a while as he was not even on the field and was watching the squad.
Pearson and Spry looked good together so my guess Don and Watkins will have huge amount of pressure on them.
As my last post at a training Peats, Wallace , Carty and Rein were the fittest by far.

I'll head to a training new week to see how that goes as well.

Thank you so much Bayside Titan for these updates, thanks for the dedication. I wouldn't rather read anything else. I think being on the ground is important to get first hand information, not what is filtered through the media through sometimes lazy journalists. I think more fans at the training also creates a healthy culture.

That is such a good update Bayside, thanks as always mate! Great to hear that Boyd is looking fit and vocal and that Proctor & Carty have switched sides (big fan of this).

    Just a couple of questions:

-Was Roberts training with the seconds team or is he out injured? Could be interesting if he was in the seconds team as if so we may see Peach as our 5/8 this year.

-Has Peats or Rein been training with the firsts squad at hooker? Or have they been switching between?

Farmer hyper extended his knee the other week at training. All cleared from surgeons

    Thanks mate. Here’s your answers.
Roberts May have an injury or a niggle but it wasn’t evident but can’t say if he was injured but in the time I was there he was in the seconds.

Both Peats and Rein both cycled in the Hooker roll. At one stage they had Peats at 13 Rein at 9.

    I hope this helps.

That’s awesome mate thanks heaps. Geez that sounds like Peachey might be our 6 after all, guess we will see how they train closer to trials. Hoping Rein gets the nod for the 9 jersey too.

    Much appreciated Bayside

At a training session I attended a few weeks ago (which I wrote about on the forum) Roberts trained at 6 and Peachey swapped with Arrow to train at lock and then later in the session Peachey swapped with Proctor and trained at left 2nd row.

Thanks for the info guys. It's going to be interesting to see where Peachey ends up. I personally think that he is more of a middle forward/edge backrower that can play off the cuff football, similar to Bateman. He doesn't have the same physical presence in defence though so is probably only good for the last 50min. I do like the fact that Roberts is being challenged for the 6 though.

Ash Taylor reveals why he’s mentally ready for NRL return with Gold Coast Titans
    Ed Jackson, AAP

FIT and mentally strong, Ash Taylor appears a player reborn ahead of the 2020 NRL season.

The Gold Coast halfback endured a difficult 2019, making just 10 appearances for the Titans either side of a leave of absence from the game to deal with personal issues.

Taylor admits looking after his mental health will be something he’ll be managing long after his career ends but the 24-year-old believes thanks to the support of friends and family he’s far better equipped to deal with the pressures of first-grade football.

“My mental game’s a lot stronger than it was recently,” Taylor said.

“I’ve been working on that obviously since I’ve taken that time off. “I’m still seeing a specialist today. It’s a long-term thing for me to get myself better. I’m not in it just for footy, I’m in it for post-footy as well.

“Really working hard to get my headspace right for the season and to keep that throughout the season as well.”

The biggest change in Taylor’s life has been the arrival of his son last year. He says the responsibility and love he’s experienced since becoming a father has been a key part of his rejuvenation.

“It is true what everyone says, when you do have a kid, it changes your life. I think that’s done the right thing for me,” he said.

Taylor admits he’s made some personal sacrifices following discussions with new Titans coach Justin Holbrook.

Those seem to be paying off, with many of Taylor’s teammates commenting on how fit he looks during pre-season training.

The arrival of Holbrook has brought new energy to the Titans, Taylor says, adding an extra element of excitement ahead of the 2020 season for the playmaker.

“Obviously I had some personal issues last year that I needed to deal with,” Taylor said.

“I’ve sort of left them in the past now and I’m just really excited to get forward and get stuck into the season.

“Justin’s brought some new faces in and a fresh new system. Really looking forward to the season that’s ahead.”
