This is relevant for those who think we should target Harry Grant.

Harry Grant has become a fan favourite at the @WestsTigers, but the rising hooker says he’s given Melbourne “my word” he’ll return in 2021 as part of the NRL’s first loan deal. @telegraph_sport. #NR

David Fifita goes ‘underground’ as NRL veterans tell Broncos star to take ‘life-changing’ Titans deal

Benji Marshall and Damien Cook have urged David Fifita to take the money and help build the Titans club as the Broncos prodigy weighs up offers from the two Queensland teams.

The Courier Mail’s Peter Badel believes a decision on Fifita’s future will be delayed due to his fresh injury concern that has bought the Origin forward some more time.

“I think it might be pushed out a week. Originally David Fifita wanted to make a decision before this week’s game against the Wests Tigers,” Badel said on NRL 360.

“That was the game he was slated to return in however he has had a minor setback with his knee and his return is now going to be delayed by about two to three weeks.

“That buys him a little time with his contractual future. There is a $1.25 million deal on the table from the Titans. It is huge money. Life-changing money.

“David Fifita I am told has not spoken to the Broncos since last Thursday. He’s gone underground and is talking to his mother Gwen, who has played an active role in discussions.”

Badel revealed that Broncos prop Payne Haas, who is a good friend of Fifita’s has been trying to get him to stay at Red Hill as the club gets nervous due to a lack of communication since the Titans monster offer came in last week.

“He is thinking long and hard about this,” Badel said.

“The Broncos are nervous they are not hearing anything from him for five days that he may drop a bombshell.

“At this stage the word I am hearing is that he is not going to the Titans just yet and he may stay loyal to the Broncos.

“But it is a huge decision and I know Payne Haas his good teammate has been in his ear today to try and convince him to stay.

“I think we will know more in the next week or so.”

Marshall and Cook are two veterans, who know what sort of an impact the money being offered by the Titans could have on Fifita’s life.

However they also believe that Fifita could make a huge impact in drawing players to come join him on the Gold Coast and build the club up.

“He should do whatever makes him happy, but he is going to be set up for life,” Marshall said on NRL 360.

“He should go to the Titans and set his family up for life.

“I feel like he can change a lot of what is happening there and make them a better side.”

“I’d say Titans as well, he can really change that club,” Cook added.

“I think he can do a similar thing to what Kalyn Ponga has done in Newcastle and draw some names back up to Newcastle and that is what Fifita will do at the Titans.

So when you can't get a quote from a source "in the know" you just quote yourself and your own thoughts....... ladies and gentlemen, Peter Badel.

They fully believe they are superior to us. It’s fed into their heads from a young age.

Not much you can do about that but in reality which premiership has Taylor missed out on?
Four reasons to escape to Queensland: Sun, Surf, Sand & the Titans.

No point engaging in anti-social media. The people on it generally aren't looking for the truth; they're just looking to complain and drag you down to their level.

It is because of their sh!t coach and their over estimation of how good they really are that they expect to win without doing the hard yards for 80 minutes

I see this all the time. There were at least 60 comments on Fifita’s most recent post that I could have started an argument. It’s all about how we have a **** history when he wouldn’t sign for the history of the club but to be part of our future.

Makes you laugh how delusional Broncos fans are thinking that they are still a powerhouse club that is a chance to win a comp lol they haven't been that for at least a decade.

Here's hoping we get an answer one way or another soon, so both clubs can move on with their cap
